Fairmont Chicago at Millennium Park

The Fairmont is excellent. Perfect, convenient location to the Riverwalk, Michigan Avenue and beach. The hotel is stellar with great views, clean rooms, comfy beds and a great restaurant.

Fabulous suite overlooking Millenium Park and Lake Michigan. Clean, attentive staff, and good amenities. Walk to everything.

When we checked in the bellman advised us not to touch the minibar or we'd incur a charge - 'very very sensitive'...but by then I had pulled a bottle of white to read the label before putting it back. He said that would have triggered a charge and he's ask the desk to make sure we didn't get charged. At 1 AM the next morning a $47 charge hit my card. The next morning I asked the front desk about the charge and they couldn't explain it - 'maybe a fee, we can't see it...'. When we checked out they didn't provide a receipt, said they'd email it...they have not. I called cust service which rang me to a voicemail in credit...probably will not get a call back. Also, Orbitz's 'what you see is what you'll pay' is not accurate...there are fees they don't show in the price.

Room and hotel were very clean, every staff member I came across was very friendly and helpful. Mevlut went above and beyond to help my check out go smoothly. Specifically chose this hotel for its location and proximity to shops/restaurants/attractions and it did not disappoint.

We visited this hotel for our 10 year anniversary. We never leave a review at any hotel. We feel they put in about the same effort which is making sure room is clean, bed is done etc.

This experience for me and my wife was incredible. I took my wife out and surprised her for our 10 years by staying at the Fairmont Chicago hotel. When I arrived I checked in. The thought crossed my mind to go and see the room before I take her to it.

I was not satisfied with the room as we didnt have the ocean view and that was the main reason I paid extra for. The gentleman I worked with name Tom at the front desk provided me with an amazing service. He came upstairs to see the room and I explained to him this was for our anniversary and wanted to do something specail etc. He right away understood and saw my vision and changed the room. He took me to my new room ans made sure I was satisfied with it the view it gave of the city etc. We went back downstairs and he updated his system to reflect the room change. I had another request was to have a decor planner come to decorate the room before I brought and he even took takecare of that.

Thanks to him when we arrived we were already checked in and room was beyond cleaned and decorated towards our liking. Our stay was very satisfying with a huge thank you going to Tom. I look forward in visiting Fairmont hotel again whenever we decide to visit Chicago.

Nice clean property. A bit dated.

I statyed only for one night, did not use any hotel amenities, but absoultely enjoyed the room. Hotel is very conveniently located and even though there is a fire station across the street, it was not noisy at all.

Room was a bit outdated with severely worn furniture; but otherwise was an okay experience

Floor not vacuumed thoroughly. Shower tiles mildewed.

Perfect location, very clean, super comfy bed + pillows! Would stay there again!

Really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a little off putting being they didn’t have a working toaster and were out of everything both days. We were also charged for snacks in the room that we absolutely never touched which was also confusing. The hotel and area itself is stunning. Bed was very comfy. View 10/10.

Clean room, great amenities, the lobby smelled so good. The employee we checked in with however, gave us an uncomfortable welcome when referring to incidentals and how we’d be charged if we ruined anything. I stay at hotels all the time and never had a speech quite like that, it felt racially motivated.
