A couple unfriendly staff members. You’ll know when you meet them. Older man that man’s the lobby at night was very nice. Also our bed wasn’t the most comfortable.
I was impressed with the staff, they were very nice and friendly.
The bed was uncomfortable.
The price
Needs updating, has an old smell
Good location, staff very nice
The air conditioner/ heat was not working
Close to where we wanted to be.
The parking was too expensive. Needs a lot of maintenance. Tiles cracked, toilet loo low, carpet replaced and wallpaper replaced where it’s pealing off. Also, the door didn’t seal good. Could see the hallway light through it.
The room, the area, clean
My stay was suppose to be 287 and my card was charged 347
Not happy guest service was no help
Property is very run down and overall just dirty. The mattress was worn out years ago and room was just plain gross. Air/ heat didn’t work properly, room smelled sour, multiple features broken in the room. Carpet was filthy. Furniture was either broken, or chipped. Front desk complaining about issues in front of guests. Other hotels were sold out so could not move. We stayed 3 days, paid over $600 and will NEVER stay at a Hampton inn again.
Breakfast was good, clean and adequate.
A little more heads up on the parking cost - close to $40 a night after fees
Stayed here for Valentines Day. The hotel is nice; some converted building with an interesting layout. The room was spacious and clean, everything in working order. Location is excellent. Breakfast was very good. Parking is expensive at $42 per day.
The common areas were decent and the staff were nice.
I don't like writing negative reviews. I almost never comment, but this was pretty bad. The elevator was painfully slow and the floor was badly cracked/ chipping. The room was tattered and felt unclean. Stains on the bathroom walls, yellow stains on the comforter, caulking in the bathroom was peeling or missing. The shower curtain rod was about to fall out of the wall. Perhaps I just had a very bad room, but I overhead another woman complaining to the front desk about the same thing. Overall, not what you would typically expect of a Hampton Inn.
It was close to the Vanderbilt Medical Center where we had to be early in the morning. Restaurant was within walking distance. Very quiet.
$35 parking fee, but that's Nashville
Our room was not clean, had to reorder sheets twice first time they had hair on them when we arrived, the new sheets they brought had yellow stains. Food was left in the refrigerator from previous guest, it was obvious the room hadn't been cleaned well. There is also a used bandaid stuck on the ceiling.
Beyond the cleanliness issue the walls are paper thin, there was people talking all night long in the hallway and overall the hotel is simply old and outdated
I would avoid staying at this hotel. First, cleanliness is an issue. According to the front desk and signs in the room, rooms are visited by house cleaning every other day. I stayed for a week, Wednesday to Wednesday. The room was cleaned by hotel staff once. On my last night's stay, I was locked out of my room due to a dead battery on the door's electronic lock. Due to the late hour, the front desk couldn't let me into my room but had to give me another room until maintenance came in for the day. Due to recent ice storms, the hotel was booked for most of my stay because local residents had no power at their homes. If this issue had happened anytime during my stay, I would probably need to sleep in the lobby. Because I stayed in two separate rooms, the toilets in both rooms often ran without flushing. I had to keep the bathroom door closed so not to hear the running toilet. The elevators are also an issue. The tiles in the elevator were mostly broken, and the elevators are very slow. The only good part of this hotel is the breakfast. The breakfast area was very clean but even the tables in the eating area needed to replace. One table looked like it was used in a bar fight. I will not use this hotel which is very sad because the location is perfect. It could be a good hotel but clearly is not properly staffed.
