It was close to the Vanderbilt Medical Center where we had to be early in the morning. Restaurant was within walking distance. Very quiet.
$35 parking fee, but that's Nashville
The common areas were decent and the staff were nice.
I don't like writing negative reviews. I almost never comment, but this was pretty bad. The elevator was painfully slow and the floor was badly cracked/ chipping. The room was tattered and felt unclean. Stains on the bathroom walls, yellow stains on the comforter, caulking in the bathroom was peeling or missing. The shower curtain rod was about to fall out of the wall. Perhaps I just had a very bad room, but I overhead another woman complaining to the front desk about the same thing. Overall, not what you would typically expect of a Hampton Inn.
Our room was not clean, had to reorder sheets twice first time they had hair on them when we arrived, the new sheets they brought had yellow stains. Food was left in the refrigerator from previous guest, it was obvious the room hadn't been cleaned well. There is also a used bandaid stuck on the ceiling.
Beyond the cleanliness issue the walls are paper thin, there was people talking all night long in the hallway and overall the hotel is simply old and outdated
I would avoid staying at this hotel. First, cleanliness is an issue. According to the front desk and signs in the room, rooms are visited by house cleaning every other day. I stayed for a week, Wednesday to Wednesday. The room was cleaned by hotel staff once. On my last night's stay, I was locked out of my room due to a dead battery on the door's electronic lock. Due to the late hour, the front desk couldn't let me into my room but had to give me another room until maintenance came in for the day. Due to recent ice storms, the hotel was booked for most of my stay because local residents had no power at their homes. If this issue had happened anytime during my stay, I would probably need to sleep in the lobby. Because I stayed in two separate rooms, the toilets in both rooms often ran without flushing. I had to keep the bathroom door closed so not to hear the running toilet. The elevators are also an issue. The tiles in the elevator were mostly broken, and the elevators are very slow. The only good part of this hotel is the breakfast. The breakfast area was very clean but even the tables in the eating area needed to replace. One table looked like it was used in a bar fight. I will not use this hotel which is very sad because the location is perfect. It could be a good hotel but clearly is not properly staffed.
Room was clean
I have been trying multiple times to fet the staff to provide a receipt, I have sent through chat, through Booking.com and even called and get ignored. Also, at 1 in tge morning the night I stayed, someone was blasting music and yelling in the halls. I reported through text to the front desk. Nothing was done for around an hr, I had to be at work by 4 on the morning.
This hotel was amazing providing rooms and flexibility during the Nashville winter storm. All agents were friendly, caring, and responsive. It is an older Hampton but well-kept and clean.
Stayed here for one night. Easy check in and the room was comfortable and clean as expected from this chain. The location is very good and the price was the best on that side of the city that night.
I had one minor issue with parking. I received a parking ticket from the company that monitors their lot. I took in to the front desk and a typo had occurred. The staff member said they would take care of it and make sure it was rectified. Some time has now passed and it appears that everything was taken care of as promised.
Would stay here again.
The front desk lady was very helpful and polite
I have nothing negative to say
It was in a great location
Liked everything about it
We were in town for an oncology appt and it was so close
Parking
I hated paying 42 dollars for parking ( handicapped parking)
Having too pay for parking
Dingy and worn down, gross hotel. The showerhead was some old cheap add in, calcified so the water doesn’t come out properly. Tub doesn’t drain. Peeling ceiling and stains on ceiling. Ripped gross looking blinds. A very dilapidated hotel room, would never go back, even for free.
Vet clean and comfortable! Staff were very friendly. I would recommend staying here
Needs better parking signage
The breakfast wasn’t horrible.
Nothing. Refer to my Yelp review. This was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. Very run down and filthy. Also the parking prices are absolutely ridiculous.
Location; Staff
Water pressure was too low; room lighting was very poor; linen service every other day; price too high; no microwave
Breakfast was good. Room was decent. We had an appointment at Vanderbilt University Hospital so the location was very good.
I didn't like having to pay $41.00 to park, but I had no other options.
Somewhat clean, decent breakfast and friendly staff
Neither of the outlets worked over the nightstand. As a matter of fact, they came completely out of the socket exposing wires. The cord strip on the wall was dangling. The floor lamp wouldn’t work and the bulb holder was loose. The shower head could be updated. Having to go to different floor to get ice.
