From check in to check out and everything in between the service was amazing. Amazing views from warf view rooms. And the hotel is beautiful.
Location and amazing service. Couldn’t ask for more.
My daughter and I had the most wonderful stay at the Boston Harbor Hotel. It came highly recommended and the hotel exceeded our expectations! The room was fabulous! Clean, modern and with well appointed amenities. A view of the harbor was absolutely delightful! The service was superlative from our room attendant, to the concierge, front desk, and even private use of the hotel car! The location was outstanding, a short walk to most every historic site. Breakfast & dinner in the main dining room were outstanding as was the service. We were delighted each day with unexpected gifts in our room as well. We truly felt pampered!
Spectactular location, wonderful atmosphere, extremely comfortable rooms, reasonable value for a special occasion, very clean and quiet, very attentive service, and top quality amenities.
Awesome hotel. Won’t stay anywhere else in the future. Incredible view. Current concert series of entertainers outside is amazing. All the sunset cruises, tiki bars, water taxis leave from there. We walked to the NE aquarium area with ease. North end and Boston common were all doable with my 15 and 12 year olds. Ate breakfast every day at the Sea Grille and enjoyed a few drinks at the Dark Bar while the kids had chips and ice cream. The fitness center was better than 95% of hotels.
Great stay overall! The location was within walking distance of the aquarium and close to the subway. The atmosphere was lovely, the room was spacious, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and a great value for the price. I was on the 16th floor and didn't hear any noise during my stay.
Service and amenities were excellent. My only concerns were finding a chipped glassware near the ice bucket on my last night and not receiving any response when requesting ice through the in-room iPad. I had to call the front desk each time instead, which made the iPad seem somewhat pointless. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay again.
An exceptional stay from start to finish. Our room was immaculately maintained, and the harbor view was simply breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond at every turn—warm, attentive, and genuinely gracious. Each morning began at the Dandelion restaurant downstairs, which offered a delightful array of fine beverages and expertly crafted breakfast fare. Evenings brought an elegant turndown service: slippers thoughtfully placed by the bedside, freshly laundered towels, and every detail attended to with remarkable care—right down to the meticulously coiled telephone cords. For those seeking a true five-star experience, we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
Everything from the location to the service to the space was perfect. We loved the staff and the experience so much. We will be back!
Truly a 5-star, world class hotel. Large rooms. Impeccable service. Views to either the harbor or city (pay more for the harbor view). Very quiet with the room facing the city. It is the little things that make this a great hotel. In the room - 2 tv's with a varied selection of around 60 channels, high-end toiletries, Lenovo tablet with all sorts of information, including white noise. Nightly turn down service. Frette bed linens. Pillow choices. In the bathroom the amenity porcelain box had collar stays, spill cleaner, etc. Comfortable two-person couch. Just amazing.
Boston Harbor Hotel is hands done the BEST place to stay in Boston This was our 4th stay this year. The hotel never disappoints . The staff are s attentive to your ever need. From the welcoming Valet to the superb front of the house staff, its always a pleasure to arrive. The rooms offer sweeping views of the city or the harbor. The location on Boston Harbor while also overlooking the Kennedy Greenway is perfect for both the business traveler as well as families. The hotel pool and fitness center offer all the amnesties of a well equipped gym. From the nearby Aquarium to the Freedom Trail there are endless possibilities for tourists of all ages.. The North End and the plethora of Italian restaurants are just a leisurely walk away. The housekeeping staff keep the rooms spotless and are always just a quick call away if you need an extra towel. From breakfast in the Sea Grill to a late night drink in the Dark Bar , the hotel offers a complete dining experience in house for those that don't want to venture far.
From a weekend get away or to a family vacation, the hotel is our go-to in Boston. I can not recommend it it any higher We are already looking forward to our next stay, there is no better choice in the city.
Amazing hotel in a superb location. Our room was on the 9th floor and had a good view of the harbour. I'm sure if you're lucky enough to get a higher room, the view will be even better. Overall the room was comfortable, clean and very well maintained. We had a minor delay when checking in as our room wasn't available until 4pm, but the hotel did acknowledge that and apologised accordingly.
We were lucky enough to be staying at the hotel during the America 250 celebrations and had an amazing view of the fireworks from our room.
We had breakfast at the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille 3 times and the food and service was always great (Janis our server was amazing). You might want to consider reserving a table even for breakfast though as it does seem to get very busy at weekends and a lot of tables were already reserved.
One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had, staff were very accommodating traveling with a baby.
Our stay at the Boston Harbor Hotel was exceptional from beginning to end. The property itself is elegant, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located, but what truly distinguished the experience was the outstanding level of service.
As American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts guests, our benefits were recognized immediately and handled seamlessly. We greatly appreciated the room upgrade, thoughtful amenities, and the way the entire experience felt elevated without ever feeling transactional. Every benefit added meaningful value to the stay and reinforced why the Fine Hotels + Resorts program can be so worthwhile at the right property.
The staff consistently addressed us personally, anticipated our needs, and responded quickly and graciously to every request. The service was polished, warm, and attentive across every interaction. It was clear that the team takes genuine pride in creating a memorable guest experience.
The Boston Harbor Hotel delivered exactly what a five-star luxury hotel should: a beautiful setting, excellent accommodations, meaningful AmEx FHR recognition, and truly exceptional customer service. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.
Beautiful hotel fabulous Customer Service. The ladies that served us breakfast, Rosie and Julia were attentive and very friendly. We ordered room service and the food was outstanding and the service was excellent.
We stayed during the Tall Ships event, and our experience exceeded every expectation. I had made several specific requests when booking our reservation months in advance, and every single one was honored. It was clear that the staff paid close attention to every detail.
Everyone at the hotel was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The service was exceptional from start to finish. We enjoyed beautiful views, our room was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, and every meal we had was delicious.
The only disappointment was that we didn’t have more time to stay. We can’t wait to return!
Exceptional hotel with excellent, caring staff who made our stay even more enjoyable. Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. Attention to detail and special attention to our birthday celebration was a wonderful surprise. Our room had an outstanding view of the beautiful harbor and we loved watching the boats on the water. The nightly entertainment on the harbor stage was wonderful.
I booked the Boston Harbor Hotel very far in advance because I wanted a hotel on the waterfront for the Sail Boston tall ships event. I booked a harbor view room and I was thrilled to have a front row seat for an incredible sunrise, the tall ship parade, the evening fireworks and the general festivities on the waterfront. The room had windows that opened so we could also enjoy the live music in the evening. Except to enjoy breakfast at the hotel restaurant we stayed in our room the entire day as we watched a magnificent spectacle. Even without a special event, the hotel is perfect for enjoying the busy harbor, the flights coming and going at the airport and the lights of the seaport.
Multiple times my husband complimented me for knocking it out of the park with the location.
The hotel is direct harbor front and close to many seaport attractions.
This is a high-end, higher priced hotel and may not be practical for everyone or when you just need a place to lay your head. But, it is a great option for a special occasion when you might enjoy your room or hotel as the "destination." As a treat I booked a romance package that included champagne, chocolate strawberries, parking and breakfast. It was delightful enjoying those amenities.
Front start to finish our visit was wonderful. The valet, front desk, bellman, room service staff were all warm, welcoming and friendly.
The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. There is a harbor view restaurant, a lovely coffee shop with baked goods and small breakfast and lunch bites, as well as an indoor and outdoor bar.
Our stay was memorable because of the special events of the weekend, but made even more special because of the wonderful experience we had as a guest of the hotel.
I wish we could give it a perfect rating. We had a mini suite. Clean, comfortable and quiet (but for the emergency vehicles). One issue was the A/C decided it was winter in hot July at 8pm. Staff had it fixed in an hour. The other was I got a rash from either the soup used for the towels or the body wash that's offered. Don't know which. Its gone in a week. Easy walk to Mike's Bakery for the best cannolis you ever had and other Italian goodies. You haven't had Italian until you've dined in Boston's Little Italy. Also located near the Aquarium metro station for a easy hop to the Commons.
My go to desired hotel when visiting Boston - niche luxurious hotel with a lovely personal touch. Food, facilities and the staff are excellent and really make you feel like a guest as opposed to another traveller
Location was perfect.
I believe I was charged for two extra items from mini bar that we didn’t use, but didn’t realize that until I got home and reviewed my bill.
This is an amazing hotel! We stayed here to watch the arrival of the Tall Ships in a very comfortable and spacious room overlooking Boston Harbor so a perfect vantage point! Service is impeccable and the location is ideal, not only for the Tall Ships but also for a dance and dinner cruise on the Odyssey the night before. A truly fantastic experience start to finish and we will definitely return soon!
