Not bad, but not great. Staff was good though.
Pros:

Very cool building, in a great location. Staff was great and breakfast was decent. The rooms were smaller than they seemed in photos, and also did not hold noise from the hallways out of the room.

I loved the location more than anything. I cannot explain how prime this location was for the purposes we needed it for. Close to the bean, magnificent mile, the riverwalk, the architecture cruise, the Ghirardelli. Literally a perfect trip because of this location. There is a trader joes right across the street for water, snacks, and other necessities. The cleanliness and ease of checkin was also fantastic. Free breakfast was amazing as well! I would recommend this holiday inn experience!

the second night, someone cleaned my room forgot to put a sheet under the comforter.

Great deal overall for the money. Prime location. We came here for Cubs Convention and this was over 3x less price.
Pros:

Price was right, friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast. The automatic pancake machine always makes my day.

Cons:

Adjacent room was partying and they were smoking weed.

Pros:

Very easy to check in and out, staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast was alright, the time of service changed from the weekend to weekdays which was not mentioned to us upon check-in. I paid the full fee one week before we arrived and upon arrival I paid $100 deposit to cover any minibar usage which we did not use, I still have not received my $100 deposit back.

Convenient location - not worth the money.

Location was great.

Cons:

Far too expensive for what you got. Postage stamp sized room and very loud air con machine outside of bedroom window. Staff were protesting during our visit.
Stayed at the bellagio for a two night treat recently for exactly the same amount of money!
