Al llegar, uno se entera que no se quedará en el hotel The Catalina ni que las habitaciones serán las de las fotos, si no que se quedará en uno de los dos hoteles de al lado. No solo que las habitaciones son otras, sino que ingresas por uno de los dos restaurantes. Tienen la música alta todo el día. Ni hablar de que nadie te ayuda con tus maletas y si hay ascensor es pequeño y viejo o no hay. Los restaurantes son abiertos al público y cualquier persona puede ingresar a los pasillos del hotel. No sería un problema si tuvieran cajas de seguridad, que no tienen y no funcionan las que tienen, jamás están tus cosas seguras.
La limpieza se hace cada tres días (a mí me tocó reclamar porque no venían) y dejé a propósito un papelito en el piso y unos pelos en el baño y jamás los limpiaron. Solo hicieron las camas. Cuando llegué había pelos en las sábanas y en el baño, o sea JAMÁS limpian. Si necesitas toallas o papel higiénico para recambiar, te hacen esperar por lo menos una hora en front desk.
La música es insoportable, si no es por los restaurantes, es por la piscina del hotel, que a partir de las 9am pone a todo volumen la música. Ni hablar de que la piscina está mal mantenida y verde. No es un hotel en el que se duerma bien. No solo por eso, sino porque tanto el aire acondicionado como las heladeras de las habitaciones son viejos y hacen mucho ruido.
Otra cosa es el personal del hotel. Nunca pueden solucionar nada. Si llamas a front desk, nunca atienden porque no tienen ganas. Las de limpieza te reclaman antes de tiempo que hagas el check-out (como si limpiaran algo). El valet parking un desastre y caro, te hace esperar 30 minutos y se pone a usar el celular. UNA VERGÜENZA TODO.

No hay una estación de café en el hotel,no hay cafetera ni sobres de café instantáneos para las mañanas.
En nuestra habitación el ruido externo era impresionante,tuvimos que usar tapones en los oídos ooidos y tomar melatonina,cosa que usualmente no hacemos

No cuentan con parqueadero y no han regresado el depósito de 100 dólares que piden por adelantado a pesar de entregar la habitación en buen estado, ya que informaron que se regrsaba en 7 días hábiles, eso fue el 18 noviembre y a la fecha hoy 04 diciembre no han regresado el dinero

When we arrived in the hotel, to do the check, the lady who check us in informed us that the AC was turned off. And they just turned on at our check in time. So when we got inside the room, we noticed even after 30 minutes with the AC on, the room was still hot. When we decided to check the air that was coming out of the AC, we noticed that was warm air in both of the AC turned on.
Then when we went to the reception to complaint about it, the guy who was there told us that she couldn’t do anything about it and told us to complain directly with the Hotel. We asked him if he could do a room change because it was impossible to stay inside that oven. Without any other option we had to try to sleep, but me and my friend couldn’t do it, because of the unbearable heat. To make it worst, in the morning, my friend was feeling nauseous, headache and vomiting because of the heat.
Unfortunately was the worst experience that I’ve ever had experience in a hotel. So I really hope I can get a refund of the money that I spent on my stay.
