The location. The quietness. The welcome. The friendliness of the people. The variety of the breakfast. The cleanliness . I give an excellent score. It was a real getaway from hustling and bustling
Only during breakfast that the floor was a bit gummy on the shoes. For the rest, I highly recommend

Er was geen elektriciteit op de kamer ondanks vele pogingen met beide badges. Er bleek geen andere kamer beschikbaar, dus we konden niet verblijven in het hotel.
It had a pool which was a nice addition. The restaurant was good albeit expensive. The toiletries were well stocked and smelt very nice.
We were given the wrong key on arrival meaning we got access to an already occupied room. Thankfully they were not in the room at the time but we saw lots of belongings so quickly turned around. The next room we were given was only set for 2 people when we were a family of 4. The additional towels and pillows arrived quickly but housekeeping cleaned the room the next day and only left 1 towel although there were clearly more than one person occupying the room so we had to request more towels again. We were given only decaffeinated coffee pods which was minor but still a little annoying. We were told by reception we could order takeaway and eat it at the restaurant but when this arrived, restaurant staff disagreed and we got told to eat outdoors. Outdoors was full of smokers which made it unpleasant to eat.

Clean and comfortable. Evening meal was very enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful, although a bit sparse at times. Breakfast was also really enjoyable.
Little bit out the way so definitely need the car. Also saw a couple of racks running around and heard a lot of rustling in the hedge rows
