DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dallas - Love Field

I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas Love Field for business, and unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. From the moment I checked in, I felt unwelcome. The receptionist was cold, dismissive, and did not greet me, yet I watched them smile, engage warmly, and even joke with white guests and police officers who came through the lobby. That same courtesy was never extended to me.

There was a mix up with hotels.com and the receptionist was matter of fact as if Iowa say fault. If there is a mix up, the front desk will still be bubbly, helpful and kind. In contrast she treated me as if I was the problem. I learned they ar used to having white male pilots stay at this hotel and seemed unable to understand that a Black woman would be checking in and deserved the same good treatment as other guests.

I informed the front desk that I was a Hilton Honors member, but my Honors points were never added to my stay despite notifying them. I had to call corporate to get it added. That lack of attention only added to an already frustrating experience.

As a Black woman, I left feeling that I was treated differently because of my race. After I mentioned that I am an attorney, the staff became somewhat more responsive, but the receptionist never apologized for her behavior and she continued to be cold and treat me differently than other guests the remainder of my stay.

Hospitality should be based on professionalism and respect for every guest. That was not my experience here. I travel frequently for business, and there are far better properties that know how to treat all guests with dignity. I will not be returning to this hotel, and I cannot recommend it to other Black travelers.

Very nice hotel

La habitación es espectacular. Camas muy cómodas, x ahí las almohadas podrían ser mejor, pero igual todo bien. La tv tb con muchos canales, así que pude ver el Mundial. Al llegar te dan agua y galletas, gran detalle. El desayuno buenísimo también. La persona que atendía hablaba español y era bastante amable. El lobby es muy bonito tb. Dejé mi maleta y al volver me quedé esperando un par de horas en el lobby.

Nunca te decepciona, excelente ubicación cerca del aeropuerto ideal para vuelos muy temprano y precio calidad excelente.

Very enjoyable stay at this property. Room was great nice and quiet. I will comment front desk staff was very indifferent. At check in attendant was very short and curt. No welcome, or mention of my gold status or any kind of hotel overview at all. Sad, I later asked a nice older woman (maybe supervisor) at the desk and she seemed suprised I didn't get offered a cookie or get any water which she kindly provided. She also informed me of my breakfast credit. Not sure why at check in this was not mentioned at all. Otherwise everything else was great. Location for my needs was perfect located within many areas of city with minimal driving time. When in Dallas I will be sure to return to this location. Breakfast was also great, good food and service. I did not use the fitness area or pool but both looked very nice.

We held a conference here for over 300 people. The weeks leading up to and planning this event were extensive and thorough leading to an immaculate weekend hosting our event there! Cannot say enough about the entire staff, truly good people and rare to find those who are passionate about their jobs and in helping ensure our conference was smooth and everything we needed was in place. Needless to say we just booked a few more for the year and can't wait to be back!

Super close to airport and free shuttle to airport. We dropped our rental car off and walked back to hotel in less the 10 minutes

Absolutely perfect stay from start to finish. The staff at the DoubleTree Dallas Love Field truly set the standard for hospitality—warm, professional, and genuinely attentive in every interaction. From check-in to departure, everything felt seamless and welcoming.
The food was outstanding, far exceeding expectations, and consistently excellent throughout the stay. A special shout-out to the van drivers as well—they were punctual, friendly, and incredibly attentive, making transportation effortless and stress-free.
The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Every detail was handled with care, and it’s clear this team takes pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
A flawless stay in every way. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and truly outstanding service.

My vehicle was broken into in the parking lot of this hotel and their security camera quality was so bad that they could not get a clear picture of the getaway vehicles license plate, even though the rear of the vehicle and the license plate was in clear view. This hotel has a reputation for cars being broken into and vandalized

Proximity to the airport.

Beds are probably the most comfortable I’ve ever had at a hotel stay. Friendly staff, waters and warm cookies at arrival.
