The location is amazing, staff is very helpful. Breakfast is a nice, basic spread.
Shower wasnt working properly, AC was not working either and it was peak summer so room was always stuffy, mini fridge barely worked. Hotel needs a refurbishment.
The position of the hotel is ideal and the view from the rooftop terrace is something else!

Location was excellent. Good spread at breakfast - lots of choice. Handy to local restaurants and amenities. Roof top bar/restaurant view was outstanding.
Room was a little small, bathroom had plastic shower screen and cleaning could of been better. Roof top bar could have benefitted from some easy chairs for late afternoon sit.

Bed rooms need updating
We only stayed one night but there was a view of the leaning tower from our balcony and it was close to the main attractions of pisa. The mini bar was a welcome addition when we arrived.

Hotel is dated, ready for refurbishment. Breakfast could be a bit better.
We stayed for one night in Grand Hotel Duomo, the staff was excellent, the hotel is lovely, especially the rooftop terrace the views are incredible. The location is just what we wanted next to the leaning tower. We walked in 25 mins from the train station and got a taxi back to train station as it was very hot. We loved our stay here and would definately stay again.

Ideal location, for the tower and local restaurants, roof top bar and restaurant. Large bedroom plenty of room for suitcases. Good breakfast

In an extremely touristy area.
The breakfast room was bright and airy and the choice available on the buffet was excellent. The hotel was well located and the roof top restaurant was delightful with very attentive and pleasant staff.
I arrived back at the hotel late one evening. I went to the roof bar and restaurant. The service was excellent but this was spoilt by a group pf dinners coming on to the terrace and smoking. I am sure there could have been a designated smoking area on the roof which is away from the main terrace making the experience of eating al fresco much more comfortable. This is not a complaint just an observation that the hotel might consider
