Beautiful hotel, gardens were fabulous and really enjoyed the 1886 restaurant (although portions were too big)

Right across from the Nile. So much history here. A stones throw from the Luxor Temple.Great dining within the hotel as well as across the street. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is included.

I never expected it will be like this , I highly recommend staying in winter Palace.
The Winter Palace is such an amazing Hotel x it makes you feel like royalty. The gardens are superb and the gardeners are working to keep them tidy. The food is excellent x we went in both restaurants and the experience was fab. The pool area is great plenty of sunbeds and the pool staff very helpful like the outdoor restaurant again food very high quality. We stayed at the Pavilion 20 years ago and wanted to come back to Egypt for my 60th bday. I felt that the Winter Palace the staff, the excellent service from the front desk , the restaurant staff the housekeeping , everyone made my stay the best ever.

What’s not to like?!
Very nice, elegant hotel with a great view of the Nile. Situated in a convenient location just down from the Luxor temple with plenty of dining options either at the hotel or nearby. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The grounds and hotel are beautiful. This was a great hotel to stay at, and I would definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel and excellent service
We had drinks 25/2/2026 evening at the bar beside the pool. Very poor quality, extravagant prices ~ 40€ per drink. The service was good and they accepted to change one of the drinks as they had brought us a wrong one

I had a wonderful stay at this historic hotel. The service was excellent from check-in to check-out, with friendly and professional staff always ready to help. The building’s rich history and classic architecture create a unique and charming atmosphere that makes the experience truly special. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, it is a perfect blend of heritage, elegance, and outstanding hospitality
