The location and views are unbeatable! it is conveniently located by the sea and within walking distance to the centre. Staff was very friendly.
The music from nearby restaurants/ bar can get loud until past midnight especially on a friday or saturday. Also the bathroom floor gets very slippery after each shower, the water from the shower head somehow get out of the cubicle, had to be very careful.
The location of Palazzo Alfeo is great. The terrace view is stunning.
Chiara was also kind, responsive, and always willing to help whenever we needed anything.
A few things are worth knowing before booking. If you reserve the room with the terrace, it's located on the second floor with no elevator, so keep that in mind if you're traveling with heavy luggage.
The closest shaded parking is Talete Parking, about a 15–17 minute walk away (€15/day), or you can choose the valet parking service offered by the property for €30/day.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the room maintenance.
The air conditioning wasn't working throughout our stay, and although a fan was provided, it wasn't enough during the hot weather, making it difficult to sleep. We were offered to move to another apartment, but only for the last night and it wasn't the same terrace room we had booked.
We also experienced a bathroom leak that flooded the floor one morning…
It was fixed after we reported it, which we appreciated.
My honest opinion is that for apartments marketed as luxury and at this price point, maintenance should be checked regularly, and guests should be informed in advance of any major issues such as a non-functioning air conditioner.
This was the most beautiful stay and the staff are what made it so special. Between the cleaning staff, Chiara and the staff from the restaurant (Yacht) downstairs, everyone was so kind and helpful. If I could give more than 10/10 I would - there is the most stunning view of the ocean to look out to and you’re situated perfectly within town but away enough to enjoy peace away from the crowds. Highly recommend dining at Yacht for a meal downstairs - delicious food and staff are incredible!

Chiara, the host was exceptional and very welcoming. The communication was outstanding and Chiara was always available to help when needed.
The room was immaculate and had everything we needed, and more. The fine detail of everything provided was exceptionally thought through.

הדירה שלנו היתה ממש מעל המסעדה שלהם, בלילה הראשון ממש סבלנו מהרעש… אז קחו בחשבון! בלילה השני היא העבירה אותנו לחדר אחר שהיה שקט יותר.

Good location - that’s it for what was good
Major construction site behind and adjacent to this property. The noise of jackhammering is so unbearable that we could stay in our room. Woke us up at 8am every morning and didn’t stop.

Great location on the sunset side of Ortigia, lovely views over the sea, very central for the cathedral, restaurants and tours. Very comfortable bed, spacious bedroom, great living area, brilliant shower. Cute kitchen area, decent sized fridge with milk, juice and water made available. My husband was delighted with the Nespresso machine and frother. We were surprised that the room was serviced after our first night as we assumed it was self catering, a real luxury to have fresh towels and the bed made!
The kitchenette is quite basic, tiny cups and saucers, no mugs, only one dessert spoon, and a frying pan that doesn’t sit on the hob unless wedged once heated up.
We liked the valet parking service, the hotel organised it brilliantly and I would have hated to try to find parking nearby, but it’s very expensive at €30 per night!
Quite noisy on Sunday night despite closing the shutters, but slept easily, totally quiet on Monday night - a huge difference in volume of noise and people weekend to weekday.

Everything was perfect. We were warmly greeted by Chiara and given access codes & a brief explanation of how things worked in the apartment. We booked in for dinner the first evening at the restaurant, Yacht, which operates out of the same building. The food was exceptional and a wonderful experience.
Staff at the apartment and restaurant are warm & friendly & very helpful.
I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Freundlichkeit, Komfort, Sauberkeit super! Schöne Ausstattung. Herrlicher Ausblick, gleich bei Fonte Aretusa. Gratis Wasser, Milch, Kaffe, Früchte bereitgestellt.
Wer Ruhe sucht, wird sie hier leider nicht finden. Zig Lokale mit teils lauter Musik, auch direkt unter den Fenstern der Unterkunft. Laute Tanzmusik auf Booten, die sich zu Parties treffen. Mit Ohrstöpseln geht's.
