Location, staff, and facilities are great! Daily maintenance of the rooms could be more thorough.

Great location and easy access to everything. Room was comfortable and clean, and staff was lovely.

Amazing day the staff with the various accommodating. We had the double deluxe room which was very spacious and the Aircon was fantastic

We were frequent users of the pool and the staff member was very friendly who looked after us very well.

The hotel was close to a convenience store within a few minutes walk and there were some places for food and drinks nearby. The room was quite clean despite there were some visible bits of snacks hiding in the sofa. Beds were comfortable and air-conditioning was nice to keep us cool in summer. Water pressure in bathroom was strong for a relaxing shower and the bath tub was large. Some parts of the showering system was loose and not secured properly but it did not affect the function. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall I recommend this hotel for couples or small group of friends traveling together.

Do not use this 4? Stars hotel. The service is bad and the breakfast terrible. The croassant was like powder when you pushed it. Gold them twice that it should not be serves. Next day, same same. Muld in the shower. Sorry for them. Asked for a chair to the balcony, nothing happend.

The hotel is gorgeous. It's in a great location and staff were very helpful and let us leave our luggage and showed us our room. Our room was gorgeous. The biggest bath tub, a really comfortable bed and a great balcony! If your staying in Chang mai and want a brilliant affordable luxury hotel, this is for you!

I loved this hotel, it’s rustic and wonderful. I didn’t love sleeping on a literal mattress on the floor and that everyone at the hotel could see into my room from all angles.

Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Viel Schmutz der sich scheinbar über Jahre angesammelt und festgesetzt hat.
Das Frühstück war leider ebenfalls nicht sonderlich gut. Das essen wirkte abgestanden bzw. wurde es schon sehr viel früher zubereitet.
Das Personal an der Rezeption war unfreundlich und im Restaurant wurden wir mit sehr gutem Englisch nicht verstanden.

Das Lanna Oriental in Chiang Mai ist gut gelegen. Ruhig aber doch zentral. Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet, mit bequemen Betten. Der Pool hat uns besonders gut gefallen und auch das Fitnessstudio ist mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war gut und das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet den ganzen Tag eine gute Auswahl leckerer Gerichte. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze auf dem Hotelgelände.

Hotel was exceptional. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Being from the United States it was great the staff spoke English. Our bartender was a pleasant and cheerful personality you will never forget!!! The location was exactly where we wanted to stay. I would highly recommend Lanna Oriental.

Lovely hotel however room for improvement. Room was comfy however the curtain ties were broken off the walls, there were a lot of ants on the dressing table which were coming in from somewhere we couldn’t locate and the bathroom could have done with a severe deep clean. The shower head was also broken off the stand and the fixing that was supposed to be holding it in place was just left on the shelf with no attempt to fix it. Also, beware when leaning on the balcony rail as ours was extremely loose and I have no doubt it would have snapped off had more weight been put on it. The breakfast selection was also poor and the pool so cold and dirty it was off putting. Another annoyance was the fact the bar, hotel, massage and coffee shop were all separate and so different payment methods were required for each - resulting in an unplanned last minute run to 7 Eleven for cash from the ATM as we were checking out as we had a remaining bill which they could only accepted cash for. What made up for the issues was the location, the friendly and helpful staff members (especially the bar tender of the bar out front who recommended and made gorgeous cocktails!) and the comfy bed with a lovely view over the pool.
If you are looking for comfort and the convenience of a great location, I would recommend. It would be so great if given a little TLC and cleanliness was improved.

Good location in the old town but hotel should have no more than 3 stars. Bedroom was tiny. Bed was a mattress on the floor. Had to climb over the bed to get into the bathroom. Breakfast was only ok. WiFi was poor.

Bref, l’hôtel est très sympathique la piscine aussi ainsi que le bar. Malheureusement ce n’est pas fait pour les seniors sauf les supérieurs , les lits sont sur une petite estrade mais par terre et l’accès à la salle de douche est difficile pour les seniors.

A very good and affordable hotel - would say budget end. The main tourist district of the old city is perhaps a good 15-20 min walk. Alternatively, can use the Grab taxi app for pretty cheap transport - around Thb 150 to town (US$ 4). There are also dining and cafe options to the south which are just 10 mins walk away.
