Historisk byggnad, mitt i Stykkishólmur och full av charm
Pros:

Det var lite roligt att bo i ett ombyggt kloster bredvid ett sjukhus, men visade sig vara ett riktig pärla i Stykkishólmur. Rummet var litet, men modernt och fräscht. Sängarna sköna och badrummet stort. Låg centralt nära hamnen och restauranger. Fantastiskt trevlig personal.

Cons:

Saknade stekt ägg eller äggröra på frukosten, en liten detalj, men något jag tycker om. Vi var lite tidiga och hade gärna checkat in då, men den trevliga personalen lyfte upp att vi fick vänta lite. Vi satte oss på ett café i närheten.

Downtown to 3 very local restaurants and the harbor. Breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

The mattress and bathroom were not clean. I debated checking into another hotel given the amount of dirt/salt/sand that was on the mattress. Ideally, maybe not a lot of people check the mattress but I am keen to checking for insects. The bathroom had hair all over the shower. Nice facility, great breakfast, poorly kept.
