We have stayed in nicer 3 star hotels in Heraklion. Overpriced.
Pros:

Cleaning staff were very helpful

When we arrived we were told the pool was out of order. My children were very disappointed.

Great stay in Crete!
Pros:

The hotel was very comfortable the room spacious for our party of four and the breakfast. Excellent in the morning. Service and staff were excellent.

Cons:

We booked the hotel based on Booking.com saying there was a heated outdoor pool. That pool was not an operation during our stay.

Avoid the restaurant.
Pros:

I must separate my review into two parts—the parts I love from the bad parts, because they are extremely different. I'd give a 10 to the hotel front desk staff, the room, the breakfast and the bellhop! Couldn't have asked for better.

Cons:

Their restaurant. The service was really terrible. We were at the end of their service, but we were basically left alone in the dining room and had to go out in search of where to pay. Terrible! Also the pool was advertised as open, but was empty on arrival. I tried to balance this out in the above review scores. So my recommendation is to avoid their restaurant and you'll enjoy your stay!

Fine for one night stay, we enjoyed the breakfast but probably wouldn’t stay here again due to noise
Pros:

The breakfast was very good and staff were friendly

Cons:

The soundproofing of rooms was terrible. We were woken many times in the night by noise in corridors, and in the morning by cleaning staff and could hear the person next door snoring. Rooms are in need of some refreshing/update as pillows were uncomfy and some things dated.
