Small room but OK, with good view!

Short visit of this beautiful área. Wonderful location with polar lights present most of the days with no rain. Enjoyed tremendously the area

Very nice restaurant where buffet breakfast was also served, room was perfect and there’s self serve fuel across the parking lot. Sorry their last day for the season in Sept. 30…

After our original accommodation cancelled on us at the last minute, we ended up booking here. The room was large and comfortable, dinner at the restaurant was great, and we were especially pleased to find the free car wash station out front as our vehicle was very dirty from driving dirt roads. The included breakfast was more typically American than other places we’ve stayed: it had bacon, eggs, beans, cornflakes, and Cheerios in addition to the typically European style buffet.

Extremely quiet stay - no door slamming or voices from other rooms. Very spacious room and modern bathroom with towel warmer. Bed was comfy as well. Breakfast offers a wide variety of food. Dinner was not a great experience - both the fish and lamb were overcooked and bland though. But great hotel!

Amazing location!

Stunning and remote location. Fjord view room has exceptional outlook. Superior rooms are large and feel new. Adequate breakfast and dinner (no alternatives). Natural geothermal pool under 10 minutes walk away and dressing gowns provided. Pool is less busy late evening. Petrol available.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are new, clean and have everything you could want. The breakfast is great and includes hot food options. Dinner was also good and prices are inline with normal prices in Iceland. The location is perfect for hiking and getting to local sights. Highly recommend this hotel.

This place is right along the coastal road, clean and quiet with helpful staff. We didn't try the restaurant beyond the good breakfast.

This was a lovely oasis of comfort after a long, difficult drive. The restaurant is excellent. The geo thermal pool is so close and easy to access. And it is very convenient for the ferry. A wonderful place to stay.

The location and price

Wonderful! We stayed 2 nights while we explored the area. The service and accommodations were exceptional. We had a family room and even with the sofa bed pulled out it was very spacious. Breakfast and dinner were both very good.

The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the baked trout.
