A warm, flexible stay that felt like home
Pros:

We arrived last minute and the Sofitel Rabat welcomed us instantly. The staff's warmth and flexibility were exceptional: they made sure we had a good set up to work remotely, extended our stay, and we felt they genuinely cared about us and our requests.

The location is lovely: next to a beautiful park perfect for our young daughter, with peaceful hotel gardens to enjoy.

Rooms are comfortable, but the real highlight were the thoughtful little surprises left for us and our daughter — these personal touches were quite special.

We will definitely be back!

**Terrible stay marred by constant annoyances.
** Upon arrival, as the door opens, a sickly sweet smell greets you in every hallway, and basic amenities like TVs and internet fail repeatedly—screens flicker on and off with no volume, while the safe loses power and locks your passport inside.
You're given only one tiny 0.5-liter bottle of water, which isn't safe because Moroccan water is not safe to drink.

## Major Issues
Workout room and spa appears open but stays mysteriously locked until 8 PM, even when you’re ready to exercise. You ask where is the pool and they point to a pool outdoors but when you try to swim there freezing cold fontains spray all over so you.canr swom. unable to turn off and no access despite promises. Pool rules demand buying a swim cap just to enter, water is freezing cold, freezing cold fountains blasting so you can't swim, staff directions are vague ("the pool is there" but fountain blocks it"), and only one towel provided in room, no towels outside at pool —no extra water either. They require you to buy a swim cap to swim or use the spa.

## Room & Service Problems
Only one keycard controls lights and doors, leading to constant fumbling in the dark. Gross Western muzak blasts instead of authentic Moroccan tunes.

From unreliable tech to petty restrictions, this hotel delivers frustration over relaxation. Avoid unless you enjoy chaos.

Magical experience with the care of Mrs Hasnaa Yassine and her team
Pros:

We had the most lovely experience with my wife and daughter at the Sofitel Jardin des Roses during our stay in Rabat. We stayed again at this gorgeous property for our 8th wedding anniversary and revived the magical experience from our wedding night, this time accompanied by our 3 years old daughter.
The hotel is fantastic, the rooms are just stunning, the quality of the food is of a high standard but the most outstanding aspect of our stay was the care, attention to detail and the warm hearted service experience we have received. Mrs Hasnaa Yassine and her team took care of us as if we were family. We will never forget the way they made us feel in such a special way.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful hotel
Pros:

Our home for four nights in the stunning capital city of Rabat was the beautiful Sofitel Jardin des Roses — and what a place it turned out to be. 🌿✨

From the moment we arrived, there was a sense that this was somewhere special. Elegant without being stuffy, stylish yet wonderfully relaxed, and surrounded by lush gardens that make you forget you’re in a capital city.

The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile or a helpful recommendation, which made the whole stay feel easy and personal - a special shout out to Hasnaa the Front Office Manager for her welcome and assistance . And then there’s the pool — absolutely enormous. One of the biggest hotel pools we’ve ever come across, and the perfect spot to escape the afternoon heat and drift into holiday mode. Especially when you have it all to yourself because of Ramadan… 🌊

After days exploring Rabat, it was such a pleasure to come back here, wander through the gardens, and unwind in such a beautiful setting. 🌴

Pros:

Хороший, современный и чистый отель с прекрасной зелёной зоной. Отличные завтраки и прекрасный рыбный ресторан Golden fish. Отличный номер с балконом.

Cons:

Совершенно не понятная SPA зона в которой не приветливый персонал, а для посещения бассейна, требуют плавательную шапочку, которую можно купить на месте за 10.eur. И дело не в цене а в самом факте.
