Great time with my Girlfriend and her dad and the golf course was unbeliveable. Cant wait to be back. Hoping to come back the end of next month for a longer time.

My recent stay at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa was absolutely exceptional. I attended a business conference at the resort, and from start to finish, every aspect of the experience was truly top tier.

The property itself is stunning, the conference facilities were outstanding, and the level of service consistently exceeded expectations. Every team member I encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a memorable guest experience.

One employee, in particular, went far above and beyond. I found myself in a difficult situation when I needed a blouse cleaned in time for an important business meeting. Rather than simply offering standard laundry service options, he personally hand-washed the blouse and ensured it was delivered back to my room in time for my meeting. That level of care, ownership, and dedication is incredibly rare and speaks volumes about the culture of service at Aviara.

In an era when exceptional customer service can be hard to find, the team at Park Hyatt Aviara sets the gold standard. I left thoroughly impressed and would not hesitate to return for both business and leisure travel. Thank you for making an already wonderful stay truly unforgettable.

Everything about this property is well taken care of and beautiful. The views of the golf course are gorgeous and the greens looked to be in great shape. There are native flowers everywhere providing the perfect backdrop for vacation photos. The staff is so helpful and welcoming. The banquet staff was so attentive and kind and went out of their way to be sure the dining experience was elevated for a conference. I hope to bring my family back to this property someday for fun after traveling here for work on multiple occasions.

I stayed at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort while traveling on business, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Although I arrived earlier than expected, the staff was able to accommodate an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.

The room was immaculate, comfortable, and well-appointed. The food throughout the resort was outstanding, making it easy to enjoy a great meal without ever leaving the property. What truly stood out was the attentive and welcoming staff, who consistently provided thoughtful, professional service.

Even during a business trip, the beautiful views and serene surroundings created the perfect balance of productivity and relaxation. The Park Hyatt Aviara made a work trip feel a little more like a getaway, and I would gladly stay here again.

This is by far one of the most amazing hotels in San Diego. We live in town but treat ourselves from time to time to stay here and this was a staycation for our Anniversary. The grounds are immaculate and the hotel is amazing in every way. We stayed in a pool suite which was super convenient to walk out of our bedroom sliding glass door and be about 20 steps away from the pool gate entrance. We lounged by the pool for most of the day and it was very relaxing (even at the kids pool). The room was beautiful and the food was awesome as well. We can't wait to go back.

Our favorite hotel to stay at in Carlsbad. The entire staff is amazing and very friendly, and the food is always delicious and plentiful. Their buffet is excellent. The beds are supper comfy and the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated. It is also very quiet in the rooms which is important to me. Excellent overall.

The Park Hyatt Aviara is flawless. The service, property, and overall location are so above par. As a Hyatt Globalist, we were treated even more exemplary as a family of four. We cannot say enough good things. Our family of four - two adults, two tween kids - had such a great time. Plenty to do and enjoy. Go visit!

Very professional staff. Wonderful food in the hotel restaurant. Had a great time. Very busy, lots of families and weddings.

The best resort with kids in San Diego. Very kid friendly, family pool with slides was a huge kit with our kids and hot tub is right there too. The pools are perfect heated and were the warmest water I’ve experienced in a hotel. Service was great, very welcoming towards families with kids. Food was great as well everywhere - breakfast (buffet and a-la carte, by the pool and Ember & Rye. Game room was a nice addition. Hyatt Globalist recognition was great with the complimentary upgrade to a Pool Suite, it was gorgeous and early check-in and late check-out (2 pm, couldn’t get 4 pm due to busy day according to the staff). Free breakfast was great. We did buffet and it was good but a-la carte options our friends ordered looked more interesting. You won’t regret staying here with your kids, can’t wait to come back!

It was a nice hotel with fine service. Not necessarily worth the cost but a beautiful place for a wedding. Can't go wrong with the choice if you manage expectations.

We also love visiting this hotel as a quick getaway for dinner and golf. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are large and comfortable, the views are amazing, pools are great and poolside service is quick. We love having dinner and Amber & Rye overlooking the golf course.

From my reservation experience to my check out everything was perfect. The entire staff from valet, bell service, the pool, all restaurants, and front desk are all clearly focused on the customer experience. The attention from the staff is genuine. I truly felt important as the customer and it meant so much because my wife and I had planned so long to make this a memorable experience for our two adult children and our grandchildren.
- attention to detail example: we had some pool toys that required inflation, when we asked for a pump not only did the pool staff have or, they offered to inflate the toys then brought them to us.
- we ate at all three restaurants- every experience was perfect, great service, perfect for families, a stroller, etc. We were seated quickly, we did get reservations that were met.
- this property was at 100% booking and supported a wedding during a holiday weekend and managed things incredibly well!! I was able to access any amenities I wanted with some simple planning ahead.
- great shuttle service to Ember and Rye, a steakhouse that is on property but is a little distance away especially with little ones or a stroller
- concierge texting function was responsive and effective! We requested things like a fan to the room, late check out, changes to existing reservations, more pillows, and more- every request was met - very well done!!
- front line leadership was visible in every aspect of the property, the result was amazing, friendly, professional service!

Beautiful hotel!
Breakfast at Ponto Lago was great, loved adding a shot of ginger to my orange juice. It’s not easy to walk around the property, which is a shame as it’s gorgeous. Attentive staff, quick and friendly valet, spacious room and huge bathroom with separate tub and shower.

I had a great massage at the spa. The little coffee cafe with pastries was a plus.

I liked the night lights that lit up to guide my way when I walked.

Wow wow wow! My family and I had such a lovely time at this property. Staff anticipated our needs and provided us a little bit larger room. We had great views of the pool from our balcony. The Aviara is my families gold standard by which all other prosperities we stay at are compared to. Such a peaceful property with welcoming and attentive staff. Can't wait for a return trip

This resort lives up to all their stars and diamonds. Clean and comfortable and easy to get around the property. Beware, if you decide to take a walk down to racquet club or golf club – it’s uphill all the way back 😊 I recommend grabbing a book or journal, walking around to find a comfortable space, then sitting and relaxing for as long as possible, or until you get hungry.

Speaking of food. I attended a business conference and our food selections represented the onsite dining offerings. Everything was fantastic, sushi, seafood, grilled meats, veggies... so I recommend the restaurants: Ember & Rye and Ponto Lago. The lobby bar is open air, weather permitting, and enjoyable inside or on the spacious patio overlooking the grounds - a great spot for a sunset cocktail.

The resort is very easy to get to from Hwy 5. SAN airport is 32 miles and the Carlsbad location makes it easy to get to many of the San Diego area attractions.
