Quite dated style / cold lobby area decoration.
I had just 2 days in Athens with my husband and adult son and wanted to make the most of it. It was our first visit to Athens so I wanted to do a little something extra to make it memorable. I booked my son a room with a partial view of the Acropolis and booked the suite on the top floor with a terrace the had a full-on view of the Acropolis for us. It included ample seating for all of us, a wonderful automated awning for when the sun got too intense and a hot tub. The hotel even sent us a daily snack tray with fresh fruit and sweets plus a bottel of wine was waiting when we checked in. We felt absurdely spoiled and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful with recommendations, the breakfast buffet was huge and delicious, and dinner at The Secret, their rooftop restaurant was truly special and should not be a "secret." The neighborhood was so convenient with just a short walk to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and many delightful cafes.
Location was outstanding. Staff were super friendly. Had a nice gym and the rooftop bar had spectacular views of the Acropolis.
The rooms were dated. The twin beds pushed together were uncomfortable and would drift apart creating a gap in the middle of the night. The furniture was cheap.
The semi-indoor swimming pool catches a limited amount of sun.
The hotel is not really a 5-star hotel and you will pay for the location.

Rooms are old and worn down.
Świetna lokalizacja, wspaniały widok na Akropol. Obsługa miła, choć trochę chaotyczna. Basen wprawdzie z zimną wodą i głównie w cieniu, ale bardzo przyjemny i klimatyczny, bardziej do posiedzenia nad wodą niż do pływania w niej. Super niespodzianką są fragmenty historycznych murów wkomponowane we wnętrze hotelu.

While the hotel is great I’d stay out of the restaurants. The pool is incredibly small.
Great location and a nice rooftop restaurant
The room was not comfortable as we could not adjust AC temperature. At night the room gets way too hot for sleep. Our family did not sleep much.
After staying at Divani Palace Acropolis for a week, I confidently and highly recommend this hotel. I am a well seasoned international traveler, and stay at 4-5 star hotels, and Divani compares favorably.
At check in, we had an issue with our reservation, and the staff corrected it by giving us an upgrade to their Executive Suite. Our housekeeper is thorough and thoughtful, our room is kept clean and tidy throughout the day. The bellmen are friendly and helpful, helping us to make arrangements and giving advice.
Our spacious room has a stunning view of the Pilopappos Monument. The bed is King sized and pillows and linens are crisp and comfortable. We have our espresso each morning sitting on our balcony looking up at the Acropolis.
Within a couple blocks we have found tons of cafes, restaurants and markets. There is a pharmacy, a laundromat and even an acai bowl spot! This is the second time we have stayed at Divani Palace, and we would come back again!

Sky Bar is amazing and the food there was great.
Staff in the whole hotel were very friendly and accommodating.
An extreme strong antiseptic/desinfectant smell that despite opened windows was remaining in the room. No free bottled water in the room but a small CARTON of water that costs 6€!!!
