The best place to stay
Pros:

Heraclio, Crete is amazing place to visit, with a lot of historical sites. People are extremely kind and friendly, the hotel staff was amazing. Food is always fresh and great. The hotel location is amazing. I hope I can come back soon.

Left the night we checked in
Cons:

For those that have experienced 5 star, this would rate 2.5/3 at best. I had a better experience in a hostel in Kyoto than here. While I appreciate the staff refunded our money, as we chose not to stay that night due to food poisoning at dinner in addition to first having been shown a room that smelled of mould, then brought to a room with chipped paint and wardrobes and with hard beds. Outside of the food issue, it would have been fine if the expectation had been set lower (we wouldn’t have booked at all). As I said, the staff remedied by allowing us to check out with a refund, which is appreciated, but the star rating needs to be seriously adjusted, hence the review. If staying with parents/older family members, avoid. Fine as a pit stop for business.

Pros:

El desayuno muy bueno, la cama cómoda, y la habitación limpia y bien equipada, con agua de cortesía, aunque el baño pequeño. A unos diez minutos andando del centro

Cons:

El parking es en la calle y no se responsabilizan del coche. No se puede comer ni un sandwich en el bar a partir de las 21:30 y el room service termina poco después (en Creta la gente cena tan tarde como en España). El personal fue correcto pero seco

Not a 5 star, poor quality
Pros:

Breakfast had lots of option.

Cons:

The photos online are not accurate representation of what you get. I was very disappointed when I got my room The view was terrible the photos online made it look like you were at a luxury resort, but it was a 3-star hotel with poor amenities. My star rating is 3, very outdated not maintained and extremely small room. The roof top pool is also small. The rooms had an odur and the cleaning staff offered spray to mask the smell.

I asked for change of room, or upgrade not possible. or even a refund. Next night I moved to a 4 star suit next door which was beyond pristine and clean and high end, in compared to this hotel, which is suppingly rated 5 star, don't know how it was rated 5 star.

Amazing stay and Spa Treatment
Pros:

The staff at the hotel are all lovely and made me feel at home. I experienced generosity from everyone especially Kalliopi at the spa. I had a foot massage with her, 5 stars. I highly recommend the spa for treatments.
