Room facilities I didn’t like

Die Professionalität des Service Personals liess zu Wünschen übrig. Bestellungen wurden mehrfach falsch umgesetzt oder nicht ausgeführt.
Gemüsebeilagen waren fast ständig in einem rohen Zustand.

Les repas et les cocktails, vraiment pas à la hauteur du standing. Et le spectacle swahili qui enchaîne cliché sur cliché (les échasses, un serpent...).

There is slats in the door where many mosquitos get it at night. The staff close a mosquito net over the bed, but they leave the light on attracting even more bugs to the room.
Additionally, the Menus are very limited. There is one 3 options each day, and you can only order off that days menu. I'm vegetarian meaning I only had one option each night and was forced to go else where when I didn't want the option.

Terrible experience, absolutely awful from the gate all the way to the reception...wish i hadnt even stayed there at all....i booked a non refundable room at the hotel but once i arrived there was a very rude italian lady named Elisa whose the manager who told me to my face that thers no rooms available after i already booked and already at the hotel (which i found out later on even the room next to mine was empty)....so she told me there was no rooms available and she cant see my booking and that i should leave....then i told her to cancel the booking and she told me she doesnt deal with reservations and not her problem and she started eating leaving me hanging like im lost after booking a non refundable room and after telling me thers no rooms and nothing she can do......so after like 2 hours of i had to call booking.com and they said theyll talk to the property and after a few minutes finaly someone came and told me they saw my booking and i should fill out some forms....and later on this Rude italian manager names Elisa tried apologizing while showing me to my room which i checked in at almost 6pm in the evening after 2 hours of total disregard from Elisa who was right there the whole time telling me she cant do anything and there's no one else to talk to only her ....one time i asked her i wanted to cancel my booking and requested to wave fees and hotel has to accept and she told me she cant do anything and i asked her who can? And she dared to tell me that there main office is in italy....and mind you this is a hotel in Zanzibar, Tanzania.....basically she was very rude and racist and didnt want me to stay there probably cause im black and local.....the rooms are a total rip off they charge like 200$ but there isnt even a fridge in the room....small room small toilet....and room wasnt even.prepared had some used soap and it was just worst experience of my life.....i wouldnt recommend anyone to go there! EVER!

We asked for a room upstairs which couldn’t be arranged.
