Metropole Urban Hotel

The staff was lovely and the area and location close to everything was very convenient

The staff at reception was the best. Very welcoming. We will always be grateful for an early check in after arriving on the ferry. Our first day visiting this beautiful city would have been greatly diminished as we badly needed to rest.

The hotel is perfect. Clean, attractive, quiet, and in a beautiful location. Loved the shower! So spacious.
And breakfast was delightful.

I was sorry to leave.

The hotel website is inaccurate. There is no airport shuttle. We had assumed breakfast was included with our room rate. We were mistaken. We had also assumed the lights would function properly and that the shower would have a door. Of the 3 rooms we reserved for our group, one room had malfunctioning lighting in the bathroom and another room did not have a shower door. When we brought these items to the attention of hotel management our first day, we were told the maintenance person was on his way to the hotel and the shower door was on a boat from Athens. That was the same story for the 8 days we were there. It seems the hotel had no intention of fixing the faulty light switches in the bathroom or of replacing the shower door. I cannot recommend reserving the triple rooms as I do not believe the hotel will fix items they knew were broken prior to our arrival.

Nice hotel in a fun great location. Water pressure and temp were amazing. Comfy bed, much better than the Airbnbs we have been staying at. Staff were super nice and helpful and we appreciated being able to leave our bags at the front after check out so we could explore. Thank you!

Everything was good.

Very comfortable bed and room and great shower with amenities. Very clean and a very nice and friendly reception.

Was unaware of the church bell and also a large boxing event with music playing late into the night

Loved the location. You hear the church bells which add to the charm. The rooms are soundproof when you shut the balcony doors. Also great location to walk around the city center.

This is by far our favorite hotel during our Greece trip...we loved the location and room ..we spent each night having a drink on our balcony looking down on the square. Loved it.

Really great hotel. A little gem right in the middle of town. If you can get a room with a church view, it’s really worth it. The staff are so helpful. They saved us money getting to our next hotel with better cab options. Just be warned if you are taking a cab, it’s a one lane street in front of the hotel so the cab driver is going to want to unload you and get going super fast!

Fraud. AVOID. They are either a bad business or a fake company. I reserved one room, but they attempted to charge me twice. They were very pleasant people, even as we communicated clearly multiple times that we wanted wanted just one room. However, they coldly asserted that I reserved two rooms and they were attempting to charge my card twice. Fortunately, the credit card company declined both transactions. Dirty company.

Great friendly hotel.

This is our fourth stay at the Metropole. We choose this hotel for its convenient location and cute little square with cafes right next to it. It is a short drive from the airport and there is a car parking lot very close to it (not managed by the hotel). The check-in is quick and efficient, even if you arrive late due to plane delays. The rooms are clean and modern.

Good location and friendly service. Top floor suite needs some attention - door hanging off cupboard, curtain hanging off and hot in aged.

It was clean and the staff were friendly. There’s also a restaurant next door which had delicious food and great staff. However, for the price I paid I expected to at least have a free bottle of water in the room, as well as access to an iron and hair dryer. I think those are basic necessities. Also I turned on the do not disturb button and the cleaning lady still came into the room while I was asleep. I didn’t appreciate that

the location was excellent the hotel was private the staff were attentive
the adjacent hacienda restaurant was fabulous particularly for breakfast on the square

Our room had frosted windows and no natural light. There was a serious water leak in the bathroom that had to be mopped but didn’t go away. The staff and location were otherwise very nice.

Beautiful little hotel in the middle of the city. Wonderful accommodations and unbelievable staff. Excellent restaurants within walking and we will return soon.

The hotel is very well located. The room was very comfortable, but the best part was the friendly and helpful staff.
