Lift was tricky to get moving
The location is great. Just a short stroll into Rochester town
The mattress was lumpy, thin and stained. There was no working tv’s in the rooms. When we told reception we were fobbed off with oh they will be coming to fix it on Monday!!!
It was okay for the price. The female staff were good but under a lot of pressure as they were understaffed. The male staff really didn’t care that you were the customer.

On arrival man receptionist wasn't there then was i had to pay £1 even though I had already paidno food drink was available on our arrival ,then we were told there was no cooked breakfast we went to our rooms there was a chain to put on door quite alarming we felt 2 young ladies alone.
We then went where we were told returants would be to find people smoking weed a very rough nieghbour hood we found a Chinese we then received a call and had to go to my dad's that night and not on the Saturday as planned.so we returned packed our stuff and Briony took the key back and explained we had to leave,As we left aScantily clad lady and man sat out side,A man smoking weed and another we were frightened and relieved we had to go to see dad
I called to talk to the reception explaining and asked if we would get a refund .we were told TO CALL BACK 7 TO 11 NEXT DAY TO SPEAK TO MANAGER .
I do think as breakfast was not cooked and I am gluten free so could not eat pastries and noone else would of wanted to stay that we received a partial refund for our breakfast if not the full amount it has been a had few months my cousin was will and has died now and now my dad is poorly, I can say we were sad we had to go to my dad's but relieved we did not have to stay at the hotel and would never recommend it

That place was nothing like the picture shown on your website it was dirty smelly the carpet had lots of duty stains on it the shower didn't work there was no soap to wash my hands with and to top the lot there was what I can only describe as a junkys needle on the windowsill, the noise levels at night were to much and I am a 20 year old girl I felt very frightened when
Nan picked me up she was shocked to see that's what she had paid for
The hotel was in a good location to walk to the High Street. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Free car parking at rear of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was quite basic.
