Nice inside
Pros:

Clean, family friendly, large room

Cons:

Not the safest area. They didn’t offer indoor parking although they had it. No headboard. Plugs are sparse or not functioning. Pricy.

Good location, huge gym area, spacious rooms, but slightly dated and hot tub was closed.
Pros:

Property is beautiful inside. Good location to get to South Common, and the Stollery and many other spots. Staff was friendly. The gym is enormous and has everything needed (except 10 pound weights). Bed was comfy and room was spacious.

Cons:

Rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated. The hot tub was closed for maintenance. Front desk said they closed on Mondays and it wouldn’t be up and going again before we left. This was very upsetting as I’d booked for the hot tub and gym. If they know it will be closed on Mondays, that should be mentioned online for when people are booking! It may not matter to some, but it was a big let down for us.

Family trip
Pros:

Nice central location and we were traveling with a few other families.
The courtyard was a great place for everyone to congregate together.
There was enough room for the kids and the adults.
Pool is downstairs.
Room faced the courtyard so we always knew who was around.
Room was a generous space.

Cheap for a reason
Pros:

Our room had peeling wallpaper in a lot of places, two toilet roll holders, the noisiest air handling system you can imagine, and looked straight out of the 70s. Yes the price was lower for this suite but based on the beautiful lobby was quite the surprise.
