Beautiful ambiance and amazing amenities included in the hotel:)
I was disappointed that eggcelent buffet was close that was the reason we came but was never dissatisfied with the hotel at all. Just hard time parking thats all
The pillows
The pool was disgusting the cleanliness of our room was poor! The elevators looked like they never been cleaned
Good location for things we were doing in the city
One of the beds in our room was very soft and almost broken causing you to roll to the middle. Also there was a wedding that night and there was no parking available when we returned to the hotel.
Not much
It said there was a cot but they wouldn’t allow it
The pool
Not enough light in the room
Staff is welcoming, nice, they accomodated our extension properly, our previous hotel staff made us feel like we made their lives difficult by walking through the door. This is so important for a hotel and too many hotels get it wrong.
Facility amentities are nice. Large extensive Gym, Pool, hot tub/jacuzzi and dry sauna all available and usually not busy.
Great little all you can eat Sushi Place located inside. (Albeit short hours 4-9pm last call)
Free underground parking.
I would stay at this location over 99% of Edmonton hotels.
We extended our stay 3 nights instead of moving to the Delta next door as initially planned.
AC / heat works splendedly
More kitchenette amenities or coffee etc, more bottled water for extended stays.
Bathroom / entrance could be higher quality in the trim. All functional. Clean.
There needs to be better airflow inside the atrium to better bring in outside air. (For inside facing balconies and rooms).
Breakfast is only served specific days (and seemignly was not served one of the days we were there, we were a bit confused by this... its a buffet so maybe theyre making a calculated decision not to serve?)
The Gym is missing a rowing machine (as many are) , it has everything else, but we always check to see if a gym has this machine.
I dont like that the hotel has shared space between other commercial entities...for example the racket ball court is next to the hotel pool and gym but not open to hotel guests.
Also,..there seems to be cheaper rooms on floor 1...this floor almost seems managed by an entity other than Wyndham... it was damp and smelled in this location. (It was like being on 3rd class of the titanic compared to our upper floor)
Better smoke spot would be nice but thats entirely personal.
Security could be slightly better on the building itself, many of the secured doors are not closing properly....especially to the fitness center... maybe that is intentional.
Services at the property
Didn’t got wifi password and the washroom sinks could have been a little better
Best value in Edmonton! - and a lovely experience! I must travel from northern Alberta for various appointments etc in Edmonton. I am always searching for a good value, pleasant hotel and now I have found it! Fair price, spacious room overlooking the lovely atrium area..quiet fresh...
I would love for the restaurant area to be open for full breakfast - and I do not mind to pay : AS I am quite tired of hotel breakfasts (though grateful) they are not my pleasure! So to pay for breakfast is fine- perhaps a 10% discount for hotel guests? The atrium here would be a lovely place to eat..prefer NOT a buffet but to order off menu. Well, that's my thought..will be back in August for my next trip to the big city.
