I've stayed at the ibis 5+ times & never had a bad experience but this time the beds were very hard, really uncomfortable, like sleeping on a board.

Unbearable heat and small rooms.
Pros:

Downstairs dining and staff were great. Up in our room it was so hot we could barely stand it. We did not expect the air conditioning to be shut down intentionally for the whole summer as were 2 other hotels we stayed at. They did give us a fan and we opened windows in the evening.

Cons:

Air conditioning was off. Room was extremely small.
