Served the purpose. Good basic affordable room. I would come back.
Pros:

Convenient to the Catfish Bend event center. Staff was helpful when there was an issue with my TV.

Cons:

Broken furniture tucked under stairs. There was a cockroach in my room.

The worst
Pros:

The location off Highway 34 in Burlington, Iowa, it is not the place for anybody to stay in my opinion. When we first got here, we walked inside no AC. It was hot as hell inside the whole building humid musky. The people are actually nice, but you get to the room and it’s not very clean at first glance it is but when you really look at it, it’s not. There were roaches everywhere. I don’t recommend anybody coming to stay here at all until they fix this place up or get new cleaning people or something. After all that I thought the breakfast would be decent, but we get down there and there’s already dead roaches on the floor in the room with the food. Not only that they only serve one thing flat, hard eggs, and tater tots that are stale. And one last thing the fire alarm kept going off for no apparent reason whatsoever and a few times went off in the middle of me sleeping and woke me up so again I don’t recommend anybody to stay here until they fix or just do better

Good to just lay your head there but Definately needs improvement.

Cons:

The showercwadnt clean. The pop machine was broken & what looked like really old pop in it. The wall by the bed had mold on it. The bathroom door would stick shut when you try to get out. The pillows were old & flat. Didn't gave enough washcloths for the 4 guests we reserved for.

Continental Breakfast was a disappointment. Only had biscuits and gravy, gravy looked watered down. Juice was a powdered drink that tasted lousy

You get what you pay for. We had a decent stay but I was glad it was only for one night.
Pros:

Location was ok. The bed was pretty comfortable and the towels smelled clean. There was a decent-sized mini fridge.

Cons:

The pillows on the bed were tiny, almost like throw pillows. The floor was very greasy and left our socks dark and dirty. The continental breakfast was pretty limited and some of the food was not very hot at all.

Terrible experience, Would not stay here again.

The breakfast was pretty decent.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable. The staff was very unaccommodating. They refused to give us a bigger room that we reserved and only gave us a room with one bed. My husband and I had 5 kids with us. We had to get an air mattress for the remainder of our stay. They also refused to give us extra blankets and towels.

Lady at the front desk was kind of rude i stay at this hotel all the tome when im in Burlington but probably take my business elsewhere need bigger tv didn’t really rest lot of noise going sound like construction going on
