Grand Hyatt Taipei

Our entire experience at this hotel was excellent. Great room size, clean, easy to access and very friendly and helpful staff. The club level breakfast and happy hour were great! The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to many things to walk and see plus close to two different MRT stations.

The best location in Taipei. Hotel is right next to the Taipei 101, with tremendous dining, shopping and entertaining choices. Nearby subway entrance connecting you to all the attractions in the city. The grand lobby of the hotel is just beautiful and has many excellent restaurants. My number one go to hotel in Taipei and my first choice for recommending to friends and family.

Great big hotel. Next to Taipei 101, easy to walk over during the rain and not get wet. Room are modern and clean. We were blessed with complimentary upgrade during our anniversary stay. The staff are very nice. One of the best breakfast you can find in Asia with mix of traditional and standard food. Love this place.

Fabulous hotel. The Grand Hyatt Taipei was excellent in every way. The facilities were top notch. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The location was convenient for walking around. Taipei 101 was right next door with its vast array of restaurants and high end stores. Although not for budget travelers, it certainly provided value and comfort.

Great location, right next to Taipei 101. I was upgraded to a tower-view room. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered both Western and Asian options. The restaurant served delicious food—I tried the fish and chips and the beef noodles, and I really enjoyed them. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful time in Taipei, and the Grand Hyatt was a lovely place to stay. I usually don't eat breakfast in my normal life, but I made a big exception for the four mornings I was there - the breakfast was delicious and fueled me up for my days at the RI conference. The staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The only blip was that my first room. had gauze curtains that I could not open (not the dark curtains, the moved) so I wasn't able to see the view. I moved to a different room the in the afternoon of the first day, which was a bit of a hassle, but the staff did respond, including the concierge, the room service, and the porter. So all good! I would definitely stay there again if I in Taipei again.

Excellent hotel with outstanding service, comfortable rooms, and a perfect location next to Taipei 101. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We especially appreciated the Club Lounge, breakfast, and overall attention to detail. Highly recommended!

We loved our two-day stay at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. The room was beautiful, as were the common spaces. I don’t usually stay at Hyatt hotels, and hope to stay at more in the future, and appreciated that Jackson at the front desk treated me like a loyal Hyatt member by giving me a late check out. His kindness meant a lot.

The Club served delicious breakfasts and had a nice evening reception. I especially enjoyed their chicken salads at dinner and the fresh fruits at breakfast and in the evening. I also enjoyed the hotel’s sauna, which was much nicer than saunas in the US.

I will return and have recommended this hotel to friends and family 🥰

Excellent service ,from front desk to breakfast personnel especially Mrs Elsa in the breakfast area but also her staff running the extra mile to get you your capu oat milk,the banana etc.
Rooms are spacious and well attended
Even a small leakage in bathroom was attended to immediately

Grand Hyatt Taipei is still the best in professionalism and service. Although the hotel is on the older side, the rooms are renovated. Best of all is the staff. Very professional and service oriented.

The hotel is gorgeous and hotel staff are accommodating and friendly. The hotel is central to much of Taipei, including the metro. The pool is lovely—with several lanes and a broad deck. The morning buffet offers many options native to Taipei but also traditional Western options. The lounge was worth a visit—especially at dinner. Rooms were spacious and everything was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the bell staff.

We had a good, not amazing experience at the Grand Hyatt. The location was fantastic being close to the Taipei 101. The service was ok - I don't think anyone ever asked if we needed any help or if we needed anything but it wasn't bad by any means. Our connecting rooms were fine, decently clean but a bit dated. The rates were very good and fair for April. Prior to arriving, many online raved about the breakfast and there were certainly lot of choices. The food was good but it was hectic every morning. The hotel is large and so they get many business travelers, vacationers, and I'm sure many Hyatt point members. I felt I was dodging people every time I went to get something. In summary, I don't have any critical feedback but I also don't have much to rave about except the location. If you are looking for a nice place, fairly price and don't expect all the amenities, service of a 5 star hotel, then the Grand Hyatt is worth checking out.
