Pros:

The whole experience was amazing!!
The room and bathroom were very clean, and the entire facility was well-kept.
The gym was in good condition and featured excellent equipment, and the pool was well-maintained!
Plus, there’s the location—it’s close to everything; I did all my sightseeing on foot.

Great hotel when in Chicago
Pros:

We only stayed one night but everything was great. The hotel is in great condition and staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to enjoy the beautiful pool

Cons:

88 dollars to park overnight is too expensive. I had to find parking somewhere else

Fantastic location, fantastic staff, clean rooms, ask for a room higher up for a view
Pros:

Very convenient location and wonderful staff - they checked on us by text, and came quickly when the toilet clogged without reason. Location was quiet even though it was on Michigan St. - must be thick window glass! The beds were comfortable, the room was clean. We didn't have a "do not disturb" sign so we assumed no service unless we asked - incorrect! They come and make your beds unless you have the sign. I appreciated that, actually. I miss that service, which seems to have dropped off since COVID.

Cons:

The water did not get hot enough half the time - this isn't really acceptable - this is an Intercontinental Hotel! I expect less from lesser hotels, but not this one. Also, though there were vacant rooms, we were put on the lowest possible floor without any sort of view- this happens with booking.com sometimes. If you want a view make sure you select it from the choices or book directly. My bad.

Pros:

staff exceptionally helpful -everyone.

Cons:

Room very small for 2 unrelated people. Small single armoire for closet, but iron, ironing board plus anything else that didnt fit in there but missing a safe. and nothing to sit on but the bed.

A magical weekend at InterContinental Chicago
Pros:

Went celebrate birthday with friends in Chicago. Hotel was packed because of college Big-Ten play and St. Patrick's Day but service was exemplary. No lines at check (the front desk personnel were friendly and efficient), the room was beautiful and well taken care of by in house staff - always clean and tidy and bed made up every day with clean sheets...food was fantastic, both in the bar area and in the breakfast restaurant up the winding staircase from the lobby. Beautiful buffet or by plated options for breakfast with welcoming servers and great service. I've stayed here before but this weekend it seemed magical. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to be on Michigan Avenue, an easy walk to shopping, attractions and the vibe of the city!

The perfect location for a trip to Chicago.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for virtually anything you want to do.
The staff were absolutely incredible and looked after us very well indeed and we would not hesitate to return or indeed recommend it to friends or family.

We came up for the Bears/Lions game and I picked this hotel specifically as bus stop for bus to stadium right across the street...Location was Perfect!

Central to where you need to be in Chicago!
Pros:

Amazing location, great service. Lizette is the sweetest and most hospitable there is in the business. The pool is absolutely wonderful. The steakhouse is perfection.

We enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Your doorman outside was so very helpful and outgoing. He knows his town plus really gets everyone to listen to him. When a vehicle pulls up he is right on it for us by opening doors even flagging down a cab for us. Uber pick ups were beyond frustrating to be picked up by the curb.

My choice hotel when in Chicago for years
Pros:

Location of this hotel meets my needs perfectly. Rooms are always nicely decorated, the hotel is immaculately clean, the noise level is never a concern and the visible but never overbearing security is comforting. I love love love the fact that there is a Starbucks accessible through the lobby, offering the full array of typical Starbucks products at their usual prices. The staff and the service at this Starbucks are plentiful and super efficient.

Best of the Best from A to Z and back again.
Pros:

Our 'go to' hotel in Chicago. Great location, terrific rooms, best Food and Beverage outlets and the best service teams from A to Z and back again!!! From the doorman on arrival to checkin at the desk, to the bellmen's arrival with luggage to Michael Jordans Restaurant and Bar and Center Court was 5 Stars all the way. Thanks for a great weekend on Mag Mile!!!!

Best location in all of Chicago!
Pros:

Perfect location for all things Chicago! Very quiet! Nice sized rooms! All the staff was friendly and engaging. Great price for all the Hotel has to offer. Both restaurants were excellent, too. I will stay here on my next visits to Chicago.
