Don’t want to say I liked any of it because they basically scammed us for an extra 100 bucks

Cons:

I called on the phone to book a room, the guy told me ther was 2 rooms available. I told him I’d like both rooms. He told me to book thru booking.com. I obliged and booked the 2 rooms thru booking.com. The next morning a different staff member was ther, stating that I only paid for one room. I showed him my confirmation, the credit card transfer for both rooms, and he said okay we’ll figure it out. Then charges my card an extra $132. All we did was show up, wash our clothes, went to sleep, took a shower and left at about 6:30am.

Good location, clean, breakfast & parking were included.

Cons:

No WiFi for the 3 days we were there. I called the tech support number provided on the room key envelope and the tech tried to help but the issue was never resolved. This resulted in additional charges for my cell service.

The security lock on the door engaged when we went for breakfast and when we returned we couldn’t get into the room. We went to the front desk to ask for help, and the young man gave us a metal bar to try and if that didn’t work, he “didn’t know what to tell us”. Luckily, after several tries, we were able to disengage the lock. He was no help and didn’t seem to care!

I really liked the proximity to downtown and breakfast was well stocked. Parking was great

Cons:

Needs a good remodeling and better communication between staff. I received a text message prompting to check in before arriving and in that check in they offer several accommodations. We chose the late 1:00 pm check out and paid extra. When we arrived the staff member had no clue about that text message so i had to show him on my phone and I asked him that if it was okay to check out at 1:00 he said everything was good to go. The following day we were getting ready to check out it was approximately 12:00 when we received a call from the front, phone didn’t work so staff came to knock at the door. She started with “are you checking out today?” So I let her know we had requested the late check out since we arrived. This was uncomfortable as it made us feel like we had done something wrong. When we checked out the staff member did apologize and said she didn’t know. This isn’t a deal breaker and staff were not rude but it was an uncomfortable experience and I think renovating the hotel/updating their technology and better communication would solve these issues. Bathroom ceiling is cracking and accessible handles were loose.

The room looked clean

Room smelled strongly of breakfast food through the whole two days we were there. Pool area was very dirty on chairs and floors.
