Pros:

Good location. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is quiet.

Cons:

The breakfast attendant could be a little nicer. She didn't say hello back and was grumpy. The breakfast was good but the table were dirty!

Snowed in and Happy in Coconut Grove in a Travel Delay
Pros:

There was a major winter ice and snow storm nationally and we could not get home
from the Miami Half Marathon to Atlanta because planes were snowed in in the northeast. We got the last room at the Coconut Grove Hampton Inn for Tuesday January 27. Titomia, when we checked in, and Trinity, later in the afternoon, at the front desk were fabulous and helpful to us in checking in, I needed a quiet area to work, grandkids had a blast in the pool and gym, swimming and exercising. The Hotel Manager was wonderful and we want to commend the manager and the front desk staff! The hotel is in walking distance of Target on one side, and the downtown funky and artistic Coconut Grove.

What a different one person can make.
Pros:

I selected our rooms from the website and I did the check ins. When we got there an hour later than indicated arrivals, the rooms was not ready.
Was annoying but Trinity made everything good by having adjacent rooms.

Good Location; Reasonably Close to Airport
Pros:

We choose this location to explore the Miami area and because it would be just a short drive to the airport to drop off our rental car and catch an early flight. It worked great for our purposes. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was just ok by Hampton Inn standards (nothing seriously wrong, nothing too special either). Parking was convenient. We walked just a short distance to a nice, local restaurant for dinner. We left too early in the morning to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast and were at the airport in less than 15 minutes.

Great location for exploring Miami. Used public transport and uber to get around.
Pros:

Reception staff always pleasant. Breakfast was adequate although the fresh fruit salad was very nice.

Cons:

Pool area needs some tender loving care!

Excellent stay
Pros:

I had a great experience at this hotel - period. The place is spotless - even the stairwells were immaculate. All my requests were answered quickly and politely. The food staff were attentive and so caring. I will be back. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely.

Was ok definitely expected more because I’m used to other Hampton inn’s …. Staff was awesome

Breakfast was terrible the bagel i grabbed had mold I have a picture of it , totally understanding of the hotel remodel , but was never told pool was completely closed and the newly renovated room is definitely not Hampton inn quality , the painted parking area is extremely dangerous as I almost fell holding my 2 year old do to the rain on the surface it was like an ice skating rink

3/10 experience and was extremely disappointed.
Pros:

The staff was very sweet

Cons:

The hotel was under renovation which wasn’t listed on their website and workers were renovating the room beside and above us until 8pm and started again at 7AM. And we only booked with this hotel because we wanted a shuttle to the port for our cruise and we told them to schedule pickup for us. They do and then the morning off they call the shuttle guy and he doesn’t answer! Ended having to pay for an uber and the front desk guy said this happens a lot lately. Like what in the world?! Don’t say you have a port shuttle if you don’t because I would have stayed somewhere else if they didn’t. Place was dingy with elevators having cardboard covering the walls. And sooooo loud.
