The location was a perfect choice for the purpose I came to the US. The room was big and spacious enough to provide the required comfort, though the mattress on the bed was too soft for my choice. The staff were friendly and quite accommodating. They were ready and willing to attend to you 24/7.

I cannot gush about this hotel, and more specifically Liz Vernon, enough! I got married last weekend. We hosted our welcome cocktail reception here as well as our room block. Liz was an absolute joy to work with the whole time. She was flexible with phone calls, met with us at least three times in person, and made sure all our needs were met. People loved the outdoor space on the second floor for the cocktail reception. After our wedding, we also went up to the rooftop bar. The room was clean and had a sweet handwritten note/champagne bottle waiting for us. I toured many hotels in Columbus to find the best one for the hotel block and reception, this was the perfect mix for both.
Great location walkable is short north. Large rooms babies comfortable with hot shower.!!

The hotel was a home and the staff were friendly and professional.
The mattress on the bed was too soft though it still provided a high degree of comfort and there was no kettle to boil water in the room, though hot water runs from the tap, probably the reason a kettle wasn't provided.
Absolutely incredible. From customer service, hospitality, to Goodale Station. Experience was worth it!

Had a fantastic stay at the Canopy Columbus Downtown! The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the entire hotel felt modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. The rooftop restaurant and bar was a highlight of the trip, offering amazing food, drinks, and some of the best views in Columbus. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back the next time I'm staying in Columbus.
Not worth the money. Basically gave you nothing except a bed. Front end people not helpful. Would not go back.
Canopy by Hilton hosted several of the wedding events for our family with exceptional service every step of the way. From the first meeting through the events, Elizabeth was fantastic to work with in coordination of the weekend. Elizabeth was very responsive to all requests making planning very easy. We had a block of rooms and successful events in the private dining room and Central Market. The hotel staff across the board offered great service at all the events.

No parking. And parking that we could use we had to walk down the street carrying our luggage.
Room temps are blocked beyond going under 68 degrees. My go-to hotels were all booked so I thought I’d give this a try. I’m sure plenty of people make up excuses to get an override on the room temp, but I offered to show proof on my PCP’s app that I have 3 medical conditions that cause me to overheat easily, leading to heat exhaustion and passing out. Even with that, the best they could offer was a dirty box fan, that I had to move, carry, and find plug ins for every time I moved around the room.
I ordered room service. It took 45 minutes to get a $22 salad. The brownie sundae was phenomenal. The bamboo straw disintegrated when I had drank maybe 1.5 inches into the cup, which made my soda chunky and no longer refreshing.
I was in town for work and got off work at noon on the day of my checkout, which happens to be checkout time. The morning before checkout, I asked about a late checkout. They told me it would depend on reservations that came in over the day and to check back ‘later’. I got back to the hotel around 9pm and checked again. I was told they could only make the call day of, and to call in the morning. I asked how early I could call; they said any time was fine.
I called at 6am. I was told the earliest I could check was 7am as housekeeping had to approve it. I called back at exactly 7am, I was put on hold for 12 minutes. I hung up, called back, and was told she didn’t get ahold of housekeeping so sorry she never came back. Put me on hold for about 12 seconds. Clearly I was the first request of the day, and I was asking for 130-2… she said they would do 1pm.
When I returned to the hotel at about 12:15, my key card had been deactivated. I went around to a different door to enter. Mind you this was after normal checkout time, and the person at the desk was approving a 2pm checkout time without checking with housekeeping at all. I asked if I could get a little later check out time, maybe an extra 30 minutes, and was declined without them asking housekeeping.
I would rather book with literally any other hotel than even consider a Canopy again.
