Cons:

The building is currently under renovation. It was very difficult to sleep because of the constant construction noise. There was also a lot of dust throughout the property. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable stay, and I would not recommend it until the renovations are finished.

Great price but...
Pros:

The bedrooms were updated and the rate was excellent.

Cons:

Unable to adjust the temperature. The room was ice cold from the AC. They brought me a space heater but that's not acceptable. Unable to adjust the fan for the AC. The fan output is in the bathroom and is very loud. This kept me up all night when I asked for a quiet location.

Nice location with good pricing.
Pros:

I liked how it was close to downtown and we were easily able to get around. The beds were very comfy.

Cons:

The washroom fan didn’t turn off at all, it continuously stayed on throughout our stay. The light for the washroom was located outside of the actual washroom and lit up both the washroom and the sink area, which was located directly outside of the washroom. The shower only had one glass panel, which was a little chilly when showering — but they were also renovating the hotel, so that could possibly be why.

Prepaid Reservation Denied Due to Staff Miscommunication
Pros:

I booked a prepaid reservation through Hotels.com for July 3–4 because of the hotel’s convenient downtown location within walking distance of the concert venue I was attending. Unfortunately, despite having a confirmed reservation, I was never able to check in.

Upon arrival, I was advised that a physical credit card was required for the damage deposit. After speaking with the front desk and the on-site manager, a credit card pre-authorization form was approved as an alternative. We left to attend the concert with the understanding that everything had been arranged and that we could return afterward to check into our room.

When we returned later that evening, another front desk agent advised they did not know how to process the pre-authorization form. After contacting the manager, we were told there was nothing they could do. No attempt was made to honor the approved arrangement, provide another solution, offer alternative accommodations, or issue a voucher for the prepaid stay.

I live with Multiple Sclerosis and intentionally booked a hotel close to the venue so I could rest after the concert. Being denied access to a room that had already been paid for caused unnecessary physical strain and stress.

While the location is excellent, the customer service, communication, and staff training were extremely disappointing. Guests should not receive conflicting information from different employees, especially after a manager has already approved an alternative payment method. Unfortunately, because I was denied check-in, I cannot comment on the room itself. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property until these issues are addressed.
