Disappointing stay, not recommended
Pros:

The location is great, the staff is welcoming and the building looks nice on the outside, this is all that is nice about this hotel.

Cons:

The standard is pretty low even for Scandic (I’ve stayed in a dozen of different ones in Denmark and Norway).
I booked a junior suite. The room looked nothing like the photos here. I might have gotten the worst room, or maybe they all are pretty bad, I don’t know.
While the hotel’s own description says that the most rooms have a magnificent view over Copenhagen mine had no view whatsoever. The bedroom did not have windows and the living rooms looked into a narrow inner yard and some construction scaffolding. While not facing the streets, it was still noisy in the room because of the noise from the room upstairs.
The lighting in the room was very weak, no way to use the chandelier in the center of the ceiling.
So the living room and the entrance were both pretty dark.
The furniture was old.
The bed was quite comfy but I had a feeling it was tilted so the head part is a tiny bit lower than feet. I obviously did not have a level with me to check that. But the building is old and floors/walls aren’t super straight, so it might as well be the case.

The room had a giant bathtub that was impossible to use because the water pressure in the faucet was too low and it would’ve taken an hour (optimistically) to fill the bathtub. There was no other shower than the one over the bathtub, so low pressure and at the same time water splashing everywhere because of no curtains / screens.
Last but not least the room was dirty. Stains on the carpet, greasy hand marks on the glass bedroom door, hair in the bathtub drain.

Of the shared space the hotel has a very small lobby and a dark sitting area in the basement. They don’t have children play corner like most other Scandics.

Definitely not recommended for staying with kids.
I only booked for one night and the kids were too tired after the afternoon in the city, otherwise I would’ve asked for a different room.

Pros:

Location, style and breakfast were all very good

Cons:

Room was very small. No space to get suitcases out of the way. There were no plug sockets on either side of the bed. I think the bathroom would have been better with just a shower instead of a bath, allowing for more storage space. However we still slept very well and the room was cool.

Great location but head into town to eat and drink
Pros:

Location right next to Rathus and breakfast.

Cons:

Noisy part of town at night. Caps restaurant very expensive. No bar or relaxation area in hotel.

Perfect location and view over Radhuspladsen from the spacious private balcony!
Pros:

Everything was according to expectations in a presidential suite. However, an empty refrigerator was a disappointment after a long journey with the kids, also that it was not possible to order food and beverages to the room. But, Starbucks next door was perfect, and we enjoyed eating on the balcony with the beautiful view and comfortable chairs.

Cons:

The price was quite high, considering that we had an upgrade... but this is tolerable as we only stayed one night.

Auf keinen Fall im Winter, im Sommer mag es ja ganz nett sein...
Pros:

Hotel sehr zentral, direkt neben Metrostation (100 Meter). Betten extrem bequem.

Cons:

Da wir im Februar da waren, war es sehr kalt draussen. Zimmer hatte zwar eine Heizung, die aber das Zimmer nicht richtig erwärmen konnte. Im Badezimmer gab es gar keine Heizung und es war eiskalt. Die Fenster in ganzen Hotel waren nicht dicht und uralt. Die Aussenfassade ist ebenfalls mehr als renovierungsbedürftig. Es gab keinen Raum im Hotel, wo es wirklich kuschelig warm war. Fernsehprogramm in Deutsch nur 1 Sender (SAT 1). Wenn man das Zimmer gereinigt haben wollte, musste man den Service extra bestellen. Preis des Zimmers völlig überrissen, für das was geboten wird.
