I had to call to make a reservation and change a reservation and Stephen was so helpful! He also mentioned he was new and helped me extremely well. He was fun to talk to and definitely deserves a raise. Thank you Steven!!
Last night I stayed in this Residence Inn and wanted to share my experience so others will know what to expect. This hotel is very dated and is not kept up well. This is just an appearance issue, however, after checking in at 730pm, I turned on the shower to the hot position on the valve and after 5 minutes had no hot water. I called the front desk, the man who answered was nasty with me when I asked him for a new room. He said there were no other rooms and the hot water heater does work. Eventually, I agreed to have him send up a repairman. When Alberto arrived he was ever so pleasant to deal with. I had him test the water coming out of the shower head for the last 5 minutes and it was still cold. Alberto went to the hallway and checked the hot water heater and it was fine. He came back and tested the sink water and it was hot. He then adjusted the valve handle on the shower to the cold position and the water got hot. My experience yesterday cannot be the first time someone complained that the plumbing in the shower was not working properly. This review is to point out that the hotel management does not sufficiently take care of this facility. The plumbing lines to the shower have been incorrectly installed so the hot and cold are reversed. It is likely, the management knows about this issue and has done nothing about it, even though, they have a very willing and able maintenance man named Albert to fix this kind of issue. The general condition of this hotel is sub-standard compared to the many, many, many Marriott Residence Inn's I have stayed in. The nasty man on the phone made it worse. My stay was on the evening of the 5th of February 2026.
The room was beyond expected and the pool and tub in the bathroom was great!
There really wasn't anything negative about my stay.
Close to downtown and quiet
Na
I’ll make this very short and sweet! Save your money do not stay at this location. Every bad review prior to this one is 100% correct!
The breakfast was amazing and the staff was very friendly.
We had a hard time checking in through booking.com because the confirmation numbers weren't the same, it wasn't saved under my name and the booking.com credit card had been declined initially. It worked out ok in the end though.

Breakfast was good. I have stayed in this particular hotel for more than 4 times and will still stay in any time any day
Wish they could extend breakfast time to 11am
Perfect Downtown location. Quiet and relaxing environment
It needs renovation. Comparing to the price and my experience with other Residence Inn by Marriott hotels it had much smaller space. The first floor was too noisy.
We’ve always loved Marriott and are loyal Bonvoy members, with Residence Inn as our go-to choice for family travel. We were really looking forward to our recent three-night stay, but unfortunately, the property, service, and amenities fell far below the standards we’ve come to expect from the Marriott brand. While the online photos looked great, our two-room suite was located in a separate building across the parking lot that appeared to be a converted apartment complex. The hallways were dirty, dimly lit, and smelled of urine. Although our room itself was clean, it still didn’t meet typical Marriott quality. The next morning, we discovered the elevator was out of service and would be for several days. As guests on the third floor and me being a severe asthmatic, this was a major concern. When we asked about it, the response was "It won't be fixed for a few days." It’s hard to imagine how guests with mobility challenges would manage. Why isn't an additional elevator available for that size of a building? We also experienced issues reaching the front desk—our calls for towels went unanswered multiple times, yet when we called from an outside line, someone picked up immediately. While the staff we did interact with were polite, they seemed disengaged and not particularly eager to help.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience that didn’t reflect Marriott’s usual excellence. Hopefully, management will address these issues soon, as the website’s claim of being “newly remodeled” certainly didn’t match the area where we stayed.
My room was clean and spacious, my bathroom fan never turned off which was a bit annoying but manageable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast every morning was always hot and delicious. The only real complaint I have is that the parking situation can be a bit tricky. My vehicle was too tall for the parking garage and there were a lot of smaller vehicles in parking spots outside that should have been put in the garage for those that wouldn't fit. One night I was even told to park off site at the nearby church but that parking lot was roped off. It was frustrating but eventually I was able to find a spot nearby.
This was the worst hotel experience we’ve had anywhere in the world. Poor sleep due to noisy aircon cutting in all night. Novice staff left to fend for themselves with minimal training. Our booking was messed up on our first night and the poor young clerk had no idea what to do. As we were returning 5 days later after a Yellowstone tour, we had to beg them to store our suitcase for the duration. Air conditioning sounds like a plane taking off every half hour all night. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was ok and some staff did their best to help. No phone in room and the manager was totally indifferent to our needs to make an urgent phone call regarding lost luggage at airport.
The room was spacious and clean. It was a bit loud from street noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had several options
