I'll be going back there for sure!!
Pros:

Very nice breakfast options.
Loved being greeted at he door every time I walked in after my day.
The lady at the desk "Sabrina" was most helpful and kind.

Cons:

Pros:

L'hôtel est proche du centre, on peut donc tout faire à pied.
Le salon du hall d'entrée est confortable.
Les femmes de ménage sont adorables et très discrètes.

Clean, professionally run facility in downtown SLC. What you'd expect from HI Express.
Pros:

Great location in the downtown area! The facilities and staff both reflected a high end, high expectations property. Expected; well done.

Cons:

A small issue that annoyed me nonethless. The costs for this property were competitive with like-quality properties in the downtown SLC area. That means everyone attracting this type of guest is getting the money they're wanting. So, to charge more for parking seemed kind of - well, petty I guess. Tell guests first come; first served. Yes; it might be a hassle for guests to find parking elsewhere if the lot is full. However, charging guests to use the lot doesn't produce more parking opportunities elsewhere.

Quick urban stay over (one day) to split a 16 hour drive and explore downtown Salt Lake City.
Pros:

Courteous staff, downtown near convention center, temple, and capitol building. Quiet room, comfortable bed, good breakfast included.

Cons:

Access-hard to find entrance. Not advertised that parking not included. Front understaffed without visible security. Pea green color scheme. Surrounded by night clubs.

I definitely enjoyed everything about my stay here, except the price for parking.
Pros:

Excellent location, great bed, friendly staff, and a very nice breakfast.

Cons:

The price for parking was very high! I would never pay for it for a longer stay.

Gave us keys to occupied rooms
Pros:

The parking is convenient.

Cons:

They gave us keys two rooms that were either occupied or not cleaned. When we informed staff they told us they didn’t have the king bed room we rented. They said since we booked with Booking.com they couldn’t refund us, but they would give us the points to comp the room. They didn’t. Then I completed the survey they sent me after my stay and they wrote back and said they were disappointed they “fell short” and still did nothing to remedy the issue. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Though a chain, it had exceptional service and some personality.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine, and people conversed, which was pleasant. Plus a newspaper--hurrah! Centrally located. Map provided. I had to wait long after checkout to go to the train station, and conveniently used the lobby with wifi and a plug. Very nice staff.
