Close to town, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff available 24 hours.
Not much not to like.
The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. Great location. The staff was wonderful. Jesse in Guest Services was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. After working in marketing and customer service for years, it was refreshing to see such a positive young man providing such outstanding customer service while maintaining an upbeat personality no matter the situation. Every front desk needs a Jesse!
The location is close by the shopping mall and beach
The room is outdated and the carpet has a little smell
The location is great and the hotel staff is fantastic, friendly, and responsive. I had an issue with my room and Eugene fixed faster than I've ever seen. The hotel is lunch to have him working for them. Also the hotel is clean and quiet.
Very disappointed with this hotel. The advertised room rate is misleading because they charge a compulsory “resort fee” that is not clearly disclosed upfront. By the time you add this mandatory surcharge, the actual cost is significantly higher than the price shown when booking.
What’s even more frustrating is that there is nothing remotely “resort-like” about this property. It has a tiny swimming pool and that’s about it. Calling it a resort is a stretch. The hotel is not even close to the beach, so the resort fee feels completely unjustified.
This practice is misleading and deceptive. Guests should be shown the true total price before booking, not surprised with mandatory fees later. If I had known the real cost upfront, I would have chosen another hotel. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.
Great place to stay in Waikiki. Highly recommend. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is in a good spot.
Ein schönes großes Zimmer mit Küche und gemütlichen Betten und Balkon. Sehr überraschend die Washlet Toilette aus Japan mit beheizter Klobrille und mehr... ;-) Gute zentrale Lage in Waikiki. Z.b.: ist der Target zu Fuß erreichbar. Bushaltestelle auch zum Flughafen ist um die Ecke. Freundliches und hilfbereites Personal.
The hotel is in a great location. Very convenient. The rooms are clean and the staff was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere.
Difficult to sleep when patrons from down the road left the pub.
Front desk people were all very nice.
The speaker system was constantly shorting out. Breakfast was basically all carbs.
Pool area was definitely not inviting or somewhere you’d want to hang out and had very limited hours.
Our first experience at Waikiki, and we did not care for it. The streets were so crowded the night we arrived, it took us a little over an hour to traverse the last 8 blocks to the hotel. The noise from the street, including amplified thumping dance music, amplified shouting, motorists, and general mayhem continued until around 4 AM, making it impossible to sleep our first night (Saturday).
Also, the air conditioner in our room did not work, so it was about 80 degrees for your entire stay. Even after the Saturday night event was over, the room was noisy and not well insulated from the street below, even on the 8th floor! A mysterious intermittent sound of a jackhammer in an adjacent room turned out to be the sound of the elevator operating...so that turned out to be a constant annoyance all day and night.
The front desk staff all did their best to be helpful and friendly, but they could not make up for the noisy, congested location of this hotel.
The cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable both in our room and the common areas. The "continental breakfast" was worse than most I've experienced, even at Motel 6 or Super 8 motels in the middle of nowhere.
I'm sure the Oasis Hotel folks are doing the best they can in what is, I'm sure, a highly competitive and super crowded part of an already crowded city. Most of the issues (apart from the non-functional AC) were due to the location. Of all the places in Hawaii we visited this year, Waikiki was the least enjoyable. It's crowded, ultra-touristy, gimmicky, and trying way to hard to be LA.
Location was a bid bad one way street surrounded by people driving and hanging outside of the hotel gate, bathroom needs a lot of attention, pool was small, there are much better places to stay at considering the price
