A friend and I stayed at this Doubletree as she had an early flight.
Upon arrival, we were told that they did not have our reservation, so we quickly rebooked online, and assumed this was our error. The female front desk person was quite rude and abrupt - not helpful at all. When we returned to the desk to try to finalize our checkin, she avoided eye contact and walked away- we had to start with a new person ( who was very sweet).
We got to our room, unpacked and decided to turn the heat on as the room was quite chilly. Despite multiple attempts, we could not adjust the heat. The front desk was notified- initially said they would send someone up, but then clarified that furnace unit was inoperable and our options were to move to a different room or use more blankets. Why would they book someone in a room with known heating issues when there were other rooms still available?
We packed up and moved to new room. Heat was fine, but shower curtain was broken and tub didn’t drain. No luggage rack in room. Only 1 washcloth and 3 pieces of tissue.
Later that night, the hotel intercom went off- apparently in error as the announcement was never completed.
I’ve stayed at multiple Doubletree Hotels in past and expected the same high level of quality, but this particular hotel failed in multiple regards.
The front desk DID give vouchers for 2 free dinners and breakfasts, but again, the quality was sadly lacking.
The people. Staff were amazing. BOOKING.com had an issue and they vouchered our dinner took responsibility even though not their error. Always friendly, every person!
Room was musty, no fan in bathroom. I think connected. My dad is very sick today and Im sure its mold related. I even moved him to the less musty room. : (
I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport and had a very positive experience overall, especially thanks to the excellent customer service from the front desk.
During my stay, I had a small issue with the shower in my room. After noticing the problem, I contacted the front desk and was assisted by Javangha. From the moment he responded, he was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. He handled the situation quickly and efficiently, making sure the issue was resolved without any hassle.
What really stood out to me was his attitude. Javangha treated the situation with genuine care and made me feel like my comfort truly mattered. It’s always refreshing to encounter someone who represents their hotel with such warmth and dedication to great service.
Thanks to his help, what could have been a frustrating moment turned into a great example of how excellent customer service can make all the difference. I truly appreciate her kindness and efficiency and hope the hotel recognizes what a valuable team member he is.
I would gladly stay here again and thank the team — especially Javangha — for making my stay a pleasant one.
This hotel room from my experience is dirty, and unkept. When I first went to the room the door was not locked, found you had to slam it to close. Dirty carpet, broken wall fixtures, broken glass mirrors in bathroom. door stop completely destroyed. I'll never stay at this property again.

The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming. Javaugh went out his way to make my trip comfortable. He truly made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

This is one of the best airport hotels I have stayed at.
Very friendly and helpful reception staff.
The building itself is clean and fresh with a lovely pool.
The room was very spacious and included a balcony. The bed was to the usual exemplary standard at a Hilton.
The shower was powerful and piping hot.
Breakfast was a good selection with nice fresh fruit options as well as cooked choices.
Shuttle runs every 15 minutes, but if you are waiting at the terminal then give the hotel a ring so they know you are there.
I just wanted to say my boyfriend and I came for his birthday. The customer service here is "TOP TIER." I received help from Marie who was very kind and pleasant, Anna who helped make this stay special because we were celebrating a birthday. She helped with everything she was Awesome, and last but not least John in valet. John and Anna pulled out all the tricks. Everything and Everyone was wonderful. I will definitely come back here and I highly recommend staying here.
It was nice and in a good location.
The rooms were cold and my drain plug for the shower/tub was laying in the bathtub not attached to the tub.
De mooie ruime kamer en we mochten onze fietsen meenemen in de kamer.ze hadden ook een grote shuttle bus waar onze grote fiets dozen in pasten op weg naar het vliegveld
