This is a great hotel, very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff . The facilities are good ,nice functional rooms clean and comfortable . Tea and coffee making facilities ,refrigerator, and British tv BBC1 BBC2 ITV 1,2,3.
Your rooms are cleaned on a daily basis if wanted but we opted for the Eco friendly option and received vouchers for 2 free drink at the bar during our 4 night stay.
There is a shop within the hotel which is self service pay by card for chocolate ,crisps water and soft drinks etc. The reception can direct you to where you want to visit and book some trips for you if required . The area around the hotel is ok and there are several supermarkets ,cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is served mon - Fri 7.00-10.00 am sat 7.00-11.00 am s Sun 7.00-12.00 . There is a good choice of fruit juices ,water , fresh fruit and breakfast cheeses and meats . good selection of breads ,pastries and sweet cakes . a wide selection of jams, spreads and yoghurts ,fromage frais . The breakfast staff are also really friendly and helpful .
However the only negative I have to say about this hotel is about the breakfast . The only breakfast cereal I could find was Granola and there were no alternative milks (almond ,oat, soya etc.) On two of the mornings the pastries were overcooked too dark and just flew away in a flurry of flakes when you attempted to eat them. The hot food was not to my taste all except for the scrambled egg . the sausages didn't taste good . the kidney beans in tomato sauce were not something i recognised .
This may just be my own personal British taste but breakfast wasn't great for me.
The hotel provides a minibus shuttle down to the free ferry across to Amsterdam central station which is more or less the main city. The minibus journey takes about 7-10minutes ,but it is only perhaps a 20 minutes walk anyway and you can call the hotel to be picked up on your return . There are restaurants and bars down near the ferry terminal (the ferries seem to run every 7 -10 minutes ) .there are also some tourist attractions down by the riverside (the lookout 360 degree views of Amsterdam ,"This is holland" visitor centre and a centre of film making ? )
All of it the room was very nice and big the bed was clean the shower / bath was good cleaning was good

Falta de comunicação entre os funcionários fez com que tivéssemos dificuldade em retirar o caução que demos para alugar a bicicleta mas no fim deu tudo certo!
I was in a loud room after asking for a quiet one and they were wonderful to move me late at night. My room was silent and extremely comfortable. Gym was good and the bus stop to the train station a couple of mins walk away. Supermarket across the road. Staff very helpful and kind (and thank you to the gentlemen who helped me move rooms late at night)

Las habitaciones estaban muy bien, y aunque queda un poco lejos ubicado, tienen un shuttle que te acerca al ferry todos los días y el personal amable.
Al ducharte se sale toda el agua y aunque solicitamos la limpieza de la habitación, nunca llegaron a hacerla.
Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice zwischen Fähre und Hotel an. Es verkehrt nach Bedarf, einfach beim Hotel anrufen. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen!
