I love the woman who takes care of the breakfast buffet. Her friendliness and positive spirit makes you feel welcomed and at home!! She bring out the best in all the guests.
The rooms were nice. Similar to a Hilton or Marriott.
The hotel comes with continental breakfast. But when we walked into the breakfast area at 8am there were about 50 high school or college age kids taking up all the seats. They were not eating. They were all just sitting there talking and looking at their phones as apparently the chaperones told them to meet there. Meanwhile, there were no places to sit for the patrons looking to eat. The kids didn’t care nor did the hotel staff. Very maddening
The breakfast was well done and the person attending was kind and efficient. The beds and pillows were comfortable.
Refrigerator was not plugged in and the cord did not reach the outlet. Bathroom caulk needs to be redone.

The staff was welcoming and professional, my room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. An all around good experience at a one-of-a-kind inn.
The only problem we had was that during our 4 night stay we had to have the room key card reprogrammed 5 times. Either we couldn't get in our room, signature suite, or into the building. After the fifth time the desk clerk said he would give us a $50 credit which didn't show up checkout. It was mentioned to the clerk at checkout but was not on the email receipt. We visit family in the area 3-4 times a year and have in the past stay here.
Great location, clean rooms, and good food comfortable atmosphere at the restaurant. Looking forward to staying there in the future!
This hotel was perfect for a fast overnight work trip. The rooms are basic not huge, but fine for a hotel room. They were clean and the bathroom was stocked well with towels and VERY clean& the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great and included for no fee and a large space to eat which was nice. The restaurant attached was wonderful! I am looking forward to coming up again and staying. All the hotel staff were wonderful as well.
A great Inn with great people. Not to mention the restaurant attached to it is great too. It’s a good location and has a lot of stores and things to do in the area. Will visit again soon!
I have stayed at the Craftsman Inn several times and it somehow gets better every single time I stay. The first time was so memorable and of such high quality that I didn’t even think twice about rebooking. Each time since had just been even better than the prior visit. The people are very friendly and knowledgeable and they make your stay such a pleasure. From the minute you check in to the breakfast in your way out every detail is thought of and customized for your experience. I will stay nowhere else in Syracuse NY. Make sure to try their restaurant as well it is fabulous!
