It was a frightening experience
Pros:

It was clean and I loved the ambiance and atmosphere. The view from my room was beautiful! I watched the sunrise because I couldn’t go to sleep.

Cons:

I was awakened out of my sleep by a man who came to my door at 2am, banging on my door and trying to get in even after I told him he’s at the wrong door, he was there for 30 minutes then left and came back until I called the front desk to come get him. She asked if he was with me and I said no and no one knows what room he was in. So that was extremely scary and off putting. I wouldn’t visit or recommend that place to anyone else and I had high hopes for the place. But that experience left not only a bad taste in my mouth, but as a woman, has me on high alert when I go anywhere now. I think I have PTSD from that because I thought he was going to come in and that was just frightening after having a crazy night already.

Vibey cool London-esque hotel in a great location.
Pros:

The Hoxton is a great hotel. The amenities are very cool - although be sure to check out the timings as we didn't get to end up using the pool due to it shutting at 4pm which we weren't aware of. The Ladybird speakeasy was absolutely great and they have some cool recommendations by reception from previous guests of fun restaurants bars and things to do which was a nice touch.

Cons:

There was a bit of an issue with our room, it seemed like after we checked in there was sugar/sand in the bed which was a bit off-putting. We found a couple of staff members a little tricky to interact with but the majority of the staff were exceptionally friendly helpful and understanding.

Amazingly kind staff, went above and beyond, will definitely stay again!
Pros:

We had a view of all the Christmas decor outside and it was lovely. We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve with five couples staying together. I made a mistake on my reservation, and Jose, the manager, went above and beyond to help us. He was incredibly kind, compassionate, and reassuring, and completely put me at ease. Thanks to Jose, we had an amazing NYE experience.
We reserved a table for 10 at Lazy Bird and the band was phenomenal, we had a great time.

Beautifully Designed, Dog Friendly Hotel
Pros:

A beautiful Chicago hotel in the West Loop. Beautifully decorated -- lobby, room, hallways, all of it. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant and it was quite good. We also appreciated they were 100% dog friendly.

Cons:

The property refuses to provide an invoice after the stay, so wouldn’t recommend for business trips. Booking has contacted them multiple times to ask them to provide an invoice or receipt but they chose to ignore the request

Great location, staff and experience. Would recommend.
Pros:

The restaurant is excellent. Location is a bit off the main downtowm but the Fulton Market district is excellent for food and drinks

Cons:

The room was a little tight, but we wanted the king-size bed.

Love this hotel!
Pros:

The Hoxton is fabulous with its walk to Fulton Market location. The staff were genuine and wonderful, from the front desk check at in staff to the person who brought something to the room. The hotel stay was reasonably priced as was the breakfast bar and the restaurants. It is definitely a place I will stay again.

Clean comfortable room but be sure to request high floor not facing Lake
Pros:

If you are looking for an easy stay for a business trip - I wouldn't suggest this place. Valet becomes a challenge and I had to change rooms after first night due to L noise. If you do stay request a high floor not facing the train.
