The place brings them in, and the staff brings them back!
Pros:

Room: the attendant were on the ball. Got me fresh towels. Restaurant: very good, even with the amount of people, they took care our my family very well. Great service! And the check in: Awesome, felt welcome and supper nice and check out, because our breakfast took a little longer than expected, they let us stay in the room until we finished. Awesome staff!

Cons:

Coolers in the pool, I can see you would require canned, I came prepared. And the table were small. It was annoying not to be able to bring our drinks to the pool, even when they were serving the same drink at the bar. Seem like they just wanted to take money.

Great location and Florida Keys vibe
Pros:

We had an amazing 4 days/nights at Amara Cay resort. Loved the decor and variety of seating options in the lobby and dining areas. Be sure and take a selfie by the "keys."

Our room (125) and lanai were clean, relaxing and comfortable. Highly recommend splurging on an oceanfront room.

The location was perfect for going up and down Hwy 1 to both the upper and lower Keys for food, fun and entertainment.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Todd during our pool day. He was amazing helping us as we booked a cabana last minute, and made sure we had all of the food and beverages needed that afternoon. Damien was a fantastic bartender, providing engaging conversation on our last night.

Access to your other hotel amenities is a huge bonus. We spent our last afternoon at The Cove at Three Waters, and they were very kind and welcoming to us even though we were coming from Amara.

Kudos to your hotel group, which we will highly recommend to our Midwest friends who frequent south Florida often.

Would definitely do it again, make sure to book early and expect no ability to pay with cash
Pros:

The staff was friendly, the location and property was very nice.

Cons:

The nearby Highway 1 was quite noisy. The bar staff outside was very disorganized and slow during Happy Hour. The entire property is run by foreigners and there is no possibility at all to use cash. Late booking an additional night was extremely expensive - so expensive that it bordered on extortion.

Do not recommend
Pros:

Disappointed. Very expensive for poor quality. Room had stains on the bed frame, hair and stains on the couch, sand on the floor, rusting in the bathroom, and stains on some of the towels. We asked for the room to be cleaned and it took forever until someone was available. The cable also does not work in the room. Would not recommend.

Amazing location, great staff, lovely hotel with plenty to do. Our kids loved fishing off the dock!

The bathrooms were a bit dated, they need new doors and probably to refresh the sink areas. Otherwise fantastic property!

Wonderful place to unwind!
Pros:

This place was amazing. We had a room with deck right to beach. Beautiful sunrise, manatee off dock, lots of activities if you wish, or chill and read a book! Highly recommend!

Nice stay!
Pros:

Property looks like brand new. Lobby is nice with a bar and restaurant and then pool and lounge chair close to the sea are nice looking. Games at the beach, kayak, SUP, fishing from the dock, really nice stay.

Cons:

The gym is in a tiny room with no windows.

Mold in AC Ventilation
Pros:

This was our 30th wedding anniversary trip, and the room was completely uninhabitable due to severe mold/toxic smells blasting through the AC system, plus multiple other serious issues. We couldn't use the room safely, especially with my wife's lung condition—she started coughing badly after just one night and may need medical follow-up.
We reported everything immediately to the front desk. They moved us to another room, but it was only marginally better—we had to turn off the AC entirely because the stench was overwhelming. The bathroom leaked and smelled like sewage, the in-room phone didn't work (I had to go downstairs repeatedly), housekeeping did a superficial clean for seconds, and maintenance claimed the phone was 'fine' but it wasn't, with no follow-up. We got zero sleep and left feeling sick.
This isn't about minor discomfort—it's a health hazard in a advertised 4-star property.
I would definitely stay away from this hotel. Whatever rating that Expedia shows on their website is totally wrong and they're supposed to alert customers like me on this hotel. It's very misleading. I asked both Expedia and hotel for full refund but no luck there. Expedia sounded to me like they were representing the hotel.
Before booking this hotel, look that up on AI and it will tell you all about mold issues.

Your Hotel should have been up front about the lack of accommodations prior to my stay. I could made other arrangements to get a different hotel for the price that you charged me. There no emails about your facility doing any upgrades during my stay.
