It was clean and convenient for where we needed to be in Eastleigh. The restaurant serves quite good breakfasts and is interesting as it is a famous jazz and music venue
The hotel feels tired and in need of significant investment to bring it up to standard.

Situation, decor, Donna, Tony and the young staff on our first night were very welcoming. Evening meals were lovely, beautiful gardens and ample safe parking.
Disappointing breakfast. The hot freshly cooked breakfast was hardly warm which was a shame as we were looking forward to not having the traditional buffet style like in most travel lodges etc

really enjoyable stay and ideally located for the coast
The design of the bathroom meant I couldnt get a normal shower and had to hold the tap which wasnt good
breakfast room was rammed at 9.30 and items on the buffet ran out
with a virtually empty restaurant we were put on a church pew type seat with no lamp or candle on the table
Nice and quiet, and a good breakfast.
The rooms are a little dated, but not a biggy.

Toilet didn't work and had to move to a different room at 01.30 am.
I have stayed here a number of times when i work in Southampton and never had a problem. staff are always happy to help and good for dinner and breakfast always vey good.
Rooms are a little outdated and some need to be redecorated but doesnt put me off staying.

While tired and a bit dated it was clean, comfortable bed and quiet- and v good valie. Was surprised there was even a kettle in the room!
