Would be great fir the airport but would literally choose any of the other hotels.
The grounds are nice.
Size of room was decent.
During a heatwave. No offer of making unbearably hot rooms comfortable for guests whatsoever.
Air con units have been switched off since covid. Probably realised how much cheaper bills were. No offer of a fan or any easement of the heat. Staying away is meant to be a nicer experiencen we wish we went home. Owner should be ashamed. If they had not have taken our payment we would of cancelled and gone home. No offer of refund of room n choice to cancel room.
We literally was so hot in the room we couldnt sleep. We had to cancel our trip the next day as was a 4 hour drive neither of us was capable of doing
Shower hose on bath but no hook to use or have a shower curtain.
Weird plugs in room
The drinks in the bar were extortionate. Double spirits mounting up to 17 odd pound EACH. Food was wetherspoons quality. Cheap sausages and not worth the price. We could of gone somewhere nice for our bill cost near 120 there after a couple drinks each at dinner. I only had a large starter too n sausage and mash for him.
Breakfast was ok other then cheap sausages.

Location was great. Memorabilia in community areas was a nice touch. Staff were friendly. Large spacious room with desk and large bathroom with shower.
No air con. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor and into carpeted bedroom area (an easy solvable issue). Over inflated prices in the bar. Hot food was poor quality.
Rooms are good but very noisy as there are fuction going on. There is no airconditon and rooms are very hot and had poor ventilation. The aircondtion are out of order since Covid. This should have to mention, when someone is booking accommodation

The grounds are very pretty, with the stream running through it, and lots of beautiful trees and bushes.
In need of a face lift.... looks run down. I like the fact that it is an older place, but needs to be fixed up.

Ok glasses in bathroom has toorhpaste residue, bin had ear buds and other rubbish, also there was a hair in the bed and worst was a fire alarm at 4.25 it rang for 6 times my wife suffers from siezures and a nurerogical disorder ans gets very scared at sudden noises something we didnt expect at 4.25 in the morning, my friend also booked same time he paid £38 chearper for same room which is a huge difference we would like feedback and some sorr of good will gesture regards mr silcox
Very handily placed just off the M27. Enjoyed an evening meal in the Concorde Lounge, with its interesting jazz-themed decoration (and a very good breakfast in the morning, too). The adjacent Lakeside Country Park was nice for an evening stroll. Staff friendly and helpful.
Fijne kamer en prima bedden. Tussen de recensies zie ik een hele negatieve over slechte bedden, maar dat is niet terecht naar mijn mening.
Douchen moet in de badkuip. Persoonlijk niet zo mijn ding.
Everything was great. Room good size. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Top quality. Staff were Brilliant. Very helpful and polite. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend
