Realmente una gran estadía.
Pros:

Realmente es un gran hotel, empezando por su edificación mezclando su estilo colonial donde resaltan puertas y ventanas en maderas talladas y sus arquitectura colonial es una belleza, la edificación nueva cuenta con cuartos amplios y cómodos, baños modernos y equipados, las camas son grandes y cómodas, aparte hay que destacar que esta rodeado de jardines hermosos , la flora y fauna forman parte de la estadía y te hace sentir que estas en un lugar verdaderamente tropical, cuenta con una piscina olímpica verdaderamente hermosa, cuenta con un bar- restaurant frente a la playa, con camas para descansar y baños para higienizarse y para cerrar tengo que hablar del personal desde el de seguridad, pasando por mucamas, jardineros, maestranza, recepción y mozos hacen que tu estadía sea realmente confortable y tranquila, no doy nombres porque seria injusto, todo el personal es agradable, cortes, educado y siempre atento para que estés bien atendido, nos fuimos del hotel realmente con muchas ganas de volver en nuestro próximo viaje a Cartagena.

Um sonho!
Pros:

O hotel é fantástico, atendimento, acomodações, a sensação é de tranquilidade e de estar vivendo em um sonho. Tem vários animais no hotel e você percebe que se sentem em casa, com certeza indico de olhos fechados e voltaria.

Cons:

Talvez a limpeza interna dos roupeiros poderia ser um pouquinho melhor, mas detalhe. Foi a única coisa, mas a limpeza do quarto estava perfeita.

A charming historic hotel with friendly staff, but in need of renovation and with surprisingly high prices.
Pros:

Beautiful old-world grandeur and atmosphere. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay. We had a comfortable room and enjoyed the breakfast.

Cons:

The hotel is clearly in need of thorough maintenance and renovation in several areas. Everything feels quite old. Also, children are not allowed in the jacuzzis, which was a big disappointment for our seven-year-old son. Food and drinks are very expensive. We were charged 40,000 COP for two beers from the minibar.

Jardins encantados cheio de animais

Ficámos hospedados no Hotel Caribe by Faranda Grand, em Cartagena, e no geral tivemos uma estadia agradável, com alguns pontos muito positivos e outros a melhorar.

O grande destaque do hotel é, sem dúvida, o jardim: um espaço lindíssimo, muito bem cuidado, com animais como veados, tucanos, pavões, papagaios e até uma preguiça. Foi o ponto alto da nossa experiência e dá um charme único ao hotel.

A piscina é bastante boa e agradável, embora já apresente alguns sinais de desgaste e precise de manutenção. A área de praia privativa também é muito agradável, com apoio de bar e restaurante, onde almoçámos muito bem. Em todo o hotel, os funcionários foram sempre extremamente simpáticos e disponíveis.

Relativamente ao quarto, tivemos um problema à chegada: o quarto que reservámos (35m² com cama king) não estava disponível. Tínhamos reservado dois quartos iguais, mas apenas um correspondia à reserva, sendo que o outro era um quarto mais pequeno (cerca de 25m²). Disseram-nos que o hotel estava com um congresso, mas ainda assim não nos pareceu correto. Os quartos em si não são maus, mas estão claramente datados e a precisar de renovação. As camas são muito confortáveis e o ar condicionado funciona muito bem, mesmo com temperaturas elevadas. O nosso quarto tinha vista mar, mas a janela não abria e os vidros estavam sujos por fora, o que praticamente anulava a vista. A limpeza, no entanto, foi sempre impecável.

O pequeno-almoço buffet foi o ponto mais fraco: apesar de aparentemente variado, a oferta era pouco apelativa. O pão tinha frequentemente recheios estranhos e pouco agradáveis, o queijo era de muito fraca qualidade (apenas duas opções), e o fiambre era muito grosso, com pele, mais parecido com fiambre de cozinhar. Havia pouca variedade de fruta e, quando algo terminava, demorava bastante tempo a ser reposto. Poderá ter sido influenciado pelo congresso, mas itens básicos como pão, queijo e fiambre deveriam ter melhor qualidade.
