Location
Tooo expensive
The location was great and Chris the general manager was so friendly and welcoming. He made a big difference in my experience. I loved the ease of check out and the breakfast was really good and had a variety of items. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen that was well stocked.
The check in process for me and my second guest was challenging having booked through Booking.com. I tried to have my friend check us in while I parked and the card wouldn’t go through and they wouldn’t let her check in. Once I was there I had to insert the card. Apparently my communication via Booking.com also didn’t reach the hotel at all either as the third party communication is lacking.
So I waited to see if the hotel cleaning service was going to make any attempt to locate my items left behind before I left a review, but since I recieved no response whatsoever from the website they referred me to I have no problem detailing the experience I had.
The cleaning service was sub-par at best, I personally don’t even request service all the time when staying for a month as I was, but I do appreciate my coffee being replaced , which almost never happened without me having to call the front desk.
I was left a note by ‘Shantria’ who was cleaning my room that detailed she was accepting tips for her service. I am not used to tipping the cleaning people, and since I hardly requested cleaning I did not feel the need to give extra money for doing their job. Apparently this constituted the cleaning lady aiming the shower head out the shower so it sprayed whoever turned it on in the face or all over the toilet and floor of the shower. Very clever , and totally uncalled for petty move on the cleaning ladies part. Very clear it was done deliberately , in fact my colleague also slaying in the hotel dealing with the same cleaning lady had the exact same thing happen to them.
Besides basically being harassed by the cleaning team and getting almost nothing replenished in the room the hotel was fair to ok. Even though the valet severely damaged the rental vehicle on one occasion, they were pretty nice overall.
Everything we needed. Most staff were awesome. Valet guys super great. Room was big and comfy.
The ‘pantry’ to buy water/pop and other goods had a kiosk. It wouldn’t accept my room # so I asked the front desk and she literally could not charge waters to my room. She said it was a third party thing? So if the kiosk doesn’t work I guess you get nothing. Lol you should be able to charge waters or anything else to your room easily.
Also, ground floor elevator area was a bit a mess. Empty and uninviting. Would suggest more comfy places to sit while you wait for your valet or the elevator (which was very slow always). Not a big deal…we would stay again.
The goods outweighed that bad.👍
Kitchenette with appliances
Everything was great no complaints
Tamanho
A lava louças estava quebrada com uma placa desde meu check in
Nice size rooms and loved the sitting area/kitchenette size. Nice outdoor roof deck.
Breakfast was ok, but very happy to have it regardless. The scrambled eggs were funny - were they powdered by any chance? The oatmeal was excellent! All the meat seemed to be turkey based, that was yuck. The coffee was very good. The breakfast staff were very attentive and very friendly.
I didn't like the scrambled egg consistency or the turkey breakfast meat. Everything else was super!
A recepção fica n 3o andar, no térreo dá acesso apenas aos elevadores, mas sempre tem pessoas disponíveis e dispostas a auxiliar. Acomodação limpa, confortável e de bom tamanho e ótimo atendimento da equipe.
My stay at Hyatt House Chicago West Loop Fulton market was outstanding from start to finish. Teh exceptional service began the moment I arrived, when a valet greeted me immediately, assisted with my luggage, escorted me to the front desk, and even brought me water after my long drive. The hotel is perfectly located in the Fulton Market District and within walking distance of my conference at Morgan Manufacturing. My room was spacious, quiet, spotless, and offered plenty of workspace along with a great city view. While the price was on the higher side, the service, atmosphere, and location made it worthwhile. I did ask for a replenishment of the water and coffee in my room, which was there when I returned from a long meeting. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location
Scratchy towels, no linens provided for the pull-out couch. Very disappointing for the price.
The room was amazing and the location was very convenient to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
Front staff very friendly and very helpful
Front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. They attended to my needs constantly throughout my 6-day stay. You can feel the warmth and kindness of the people. I also like the location which is in the center of West Loop and such a walkable and beautiful neighborhood. (I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that they're right above The Original Pancake House.)
Spacious and clean suite. Nice lounge and breakfast area. Parking is quite expensive but you can park in the parking ram nearby. We would come back.
I liked the location, it suited our needs. We were comfortable in our room and I’d rate it 8.8 for sure. We like the walkable area of west loop.
Breakfast nicely laid out and better than alot of hotels but is good basic which is okay.
