Our experience was wonderful. The property is beautiful will lots of great amenities. The High Tea was a delicious and fun experience. We brought our kids with us and the rooms are spacious and plenty for them to do at the hotel and near by attractions. The service was spectacular! Very attentive, friendly and helpful.
Had a great experience, Roy and Pedro really went above and beyond.
The Adalphus was a five star spot-great location, food and service. A big compliment to Pedro and Roy who went out of their way for us.
I had a great one night stay. Had to pick a hotel last minute because my flight got cancelled. Glad I picked this hotel. It’s beautiful and historic. The staff were all very friendly and attentive . Shoot out to Tim and Eduarda and the girls at the front
Everyone was so friendly to dance an experience and shout out the best photographer AGUILERA
This hotel is historically gorgeous. The history throughout, from an original Napoleon painting in the bar lobby to a piano that missed the Titanic voyage because it was late to the port, added to its glamour. Nigel greeted us and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The rooms are the size of grand suites and the lobby bar is large, historic, has multiple fire place seating areas, and always a large gathering of people with cocktails in hand. What a wonderful hotel.
Melba working the front entrance and lobby was simply spectacular , attentive and caring. Loved the service !!
Enjoyed a beautiful guided tour of the hotel by Nigel. Such a stunning building!
Heistand and Tim very attentive and great service.
Heistand and Tim are great at the valet! Very personable and helpful! Great stay at the hotel and greats bars
Heist and was amazing. He helped me make sure I was getting where I needed to go. The whole staff is anazing
Oh my god. This place is incredible. Not only the building and history, but something MUST be said about the staff. Everyone is so sweet and outgoing and helpful. A gentleman named Nigel, ESPECIALLY went out of his way to welcome us, connect with us and my 11 year old son. He made our stay so special even above and beyond how special it already was. Thank you to Nigel and all of the Adolphus staff!
Tim and Heistand went above and beyond to ensure my valet services were top notch b
I was going back and forth between staying here and the Joule. I am so glad I decided on The Adolphus. The cleanliness, the rooms and the atmosphere were great, however, they don’t compare to the level of customer service we received. From the valet parking to the front desk staff!! Nigel, our doorman, was absolutely amazing. Very personable, courteous and informative. Please keep him and give him a raise! He is a very valuable addition to this wonderful hotel and to the Marriott corporation as a whole. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I live down the street and sometimes just grab a room so I can enjoy the space as long as possible. One of my favorite things about the Adolphus is their downstairs restaurant, Rodeo Bar. It is literally one of the only Texas, saloon type, bars in the downtown area. I think it was extremely smart to incorporate a restaurant/bar with that atmosphere, even though the Hotel itself has a much more eloquent and upscale vibe. When you’re in Texas, you want it to feel like Texas!
There are two people I want to give a HUGE shout out to. As a mentioned earlier, I live down the street, so I will often pop in for lunch or some evening drinks. KYRIÉ always welcomes me with a smile and asks how I’ve been. She remembers not only my typical order, but also my daughters! She is the epitome of southern hospitality and just another reason I frequent the hotel. Another wonderful soul is NATASHA. She is newer to the restaurant, but she, also, always greets me with a warm smile and a cold miller light! She offers engaging conversation that doesn’t seem forced and is a great addition to the bar staff.
You can have the most beautiful hotel in the world, but if the employees aren’t up to par, it changes the whole experience. Luckily, the Adolphus has the perfect balance of stunning architecture, decor AND people!
