This was honestly such a beautiful and warming hotel. From our arrival up until our stay we’ve been greeted and helped by the most amazing people. The hotel itself is stunning and perfect for a trip here in Hawaii but most importantly the staff was incredible. Leea assisted us on our first day because I had a few questions on bookings and activities and she went above and beyond to give me a list of recommendations and places we needed to visit. She even booked our boat day for us and guided us along the way with other bookings. A couple days later she sent me a ton of other places, beaches, and must see visit spots. She was so great and made our stay here that much more enjoyable and awesome. Loved this hotel!!!
The hotel was very clean I don’t have anything bad to say about my experience. I liked the location. It was close to the Ala Moana Center (mall). We paid for an all Trolley pass for multiple days. The Trolleys made a stop at the hotel or close to it. This made transportation easy without renting a car. The beach was about a 7 minute walk from the hotel.
It was great! The room was fantastic, Kristen at check in was very nice and explained what my wine and dine package included perfectly. Great views of the coast line from floor 29.
Prince Waikiki Hotel that made me a perfect honeymoon. I will stay here next time when I visit Hawaii. I was so happy to swim and play in the pool. I guess I made a lot of money to be happy like this
Beautiful sunset view. Great atmosphere. Super friendly staff.
Enjoyed the buffet dinner! Loved the crabs, I wish they have dress oysters.
Prince Waikīkī was a wonderful stay! This was our second time to Oahu but first stay at Prince. The hotel is located on the end of Waikīkī which is out of a lot of the hustle and bustle which we enjoyed. We were in Oahu for a wedding and most of the friends and family stayed here. The room was clean spacious and beautiful views! We were on the 8th floor and caught many rainbows from our window which opened to get some of that island air! The dining options on site were great! We ate breakfast many times there and did the dinner buffet once which had a wonderful selection! The açaí bowl and loco moco stood out at breakfast time! Must try! Pool area was nice towels available for pool and beach. Adults infinity pool option as well! We ate at the pool a few times and had drinks, wonderful food and drinks! Also walkable to near by Hilton Hawaiian village for shopping and different food options! Would recommend the stay here and can’t wait til our return!
All of the bellhop and front desk and valet and pool servers were extremely extraordinary amazing! We stayed there for our wedding. While we couldnt have the wedding at the prince. All of the people at the front was so accommodating from holding a lot of our stuff from the reception including part of our wedding cake! to helping us with multiple trips from our hotel rooms to the vehicles. It really made our wedding experience that much smoother, thanks to all the workers for the amazing customer service! Jeremy, terri, Maria and all the pool servers and bartenders too!
We really enjoyed our stays here, all the staff were wonderful and the rooms were huge and you could open windows. Loved it
We have been to going to the 100 Sails Restaurant for many years. It’s the perfect dining spot for our special occasion celebrations.
The spacious, tastefully decorated dining room overlooks a scenic view of the boat harbor, allowing for an airy, open air atmosphere.
The staff provides diners with excellent service. In particular, our long time favorite server, Grace Yoon, is always friendly, helpful, and efficient in performing her duties. We always request to be seated in her section, and are very happy to revisit with her, but are disappointed when she is not working that particular shift.
Overall, 100 Sails never disappoints!
Good location, good in-room facilities, good view, nice staff
No beach
Our stay at Prince Waikiki was fine in some respects, but ultimately disappointing for the type of hotel it presents itself to be.
The room and views were pleasant, and the location can be convenient depending on what you want to do in Honolulu. The staff we interacted with were generally nice. That said, the overall experience did not feel like a true luxury stay, especially after coming from a much more personal and peaceful property earlier in our trip.
One of the biggest disappointments was the pool experience. We specifically valued the idea of an adults-only infinity pool, but that was not meaningfully enforced during our stay. There were teenagers in the adults-only area and loud children in the adjacent pool area, so the pool deck did not have the serene, elevated feel we were hoping for. For travelers who are choosing a property partly for a quieter, more adult atmosphere, this is important.
We also found some of the marketing around the views to be a bit overstated. The ocean views are nice, but the hotel overlooks the marina/harbor rather than offering the kind of direct, immersive Pacific Ocean experience the language might suggest.
Breakfast was another weak point. The food itself was not the issue so much as the operation. There was a long line, and it appeared that only one host was managing room and breakfast verification, which created an unnecessary bottleneck and made the experience feel less polished than expected.
Overall, Prince Waikiki is not a bad hotel, but it did not deliver the level of quiet, service flow, or luxury atmosphere we were hoping for on an anniversary trip. For the price point and positioning, I expected more. We would likely choose a different property on a future visit to Oahu.
We were here from June 16-25th and we had the best experience with Kim Ibay. She was accommodating and very knowledgeable on the topics we needed to know.
Exceptional place to stay! All of the staff were friendly & helpful and check-in was quick and easy. The views from our room and the pool were beautiful. All areas of the hotel were very clean. We will definitely stay here again.
Enjoy the buffet! Our waitress Willene are the best waitress ever met! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! We’ll be back.
Returned after 5 years, from Honeymoon to now as a family with 2 kids. The staff are still amazingly friendly, especially the front desk, bellmen and Jorge at 100 Sails!
I hate to say this but the property has not been maintained well since the last stay. Pool deck has loose planks all over popping up, which caused me to slip. Staff were quick to cover up the broken plank but it clearly was not the first time it’s happened. This is while exposing rusty nails in a family area.
Not sure if it’s the design of where the pool is situated between the two towers but the wind level is just unbearable. Can not relax at all and too cold for young kids to stay for too long.
Overall, I would not choose to come back as a family. As a couple perhaps still ok but definitely not a family friendly hotel.
Peter was very helpful, welcoming and kind. This is our second visit and he was assigned to our table twice and treated us as family. Kindness can never be taken for granted. I hope other workers can learn from his sincerity.
We love it here! From check in to check out, our experience is always top notch. The view, the beds, the Mālie soap (mmmmmmm!), the pool, the cabanas, the service — we love it all!
We recently stayed at the Prince Waikiki and had a fantastic experience from beginning to end. We were on the 29th floor, and the views alone made the stay memorable. Waking up each morning and seeing the ocean and marina from such a high floor was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunrise and in the evenings.
The hotel itself was very clean, modern, and well maintained. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere of the property - it felt upscale without being overly formal.
One thing that stood out was the service. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The staff made us feel valued throughout our stay and added to the overall experience.
We also loved the location. It was close enough to enjoy Waikiki beaches, shopping, restaurants, and activities, but it felt a little more peaceful and less crowded than staying right in the middle of the busiest areas. It was a nice balance of convenience and relaxation.
Overall, the Prince Waikiki exceeded our expectations and helped make our trip even more enjoyable. We left with great memories and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beautiful views, excellent service, and a relaxing Waikiki experience.
