The location, the large rooms and the staff.
Had to change rooms as the first on had no lighting. Lack of proper operations of the elevators, one was not operational and the other was slow and stopped on un selected floors. Breakfast was a mess!
I book the room over a month before my stay and when I get there they didn’t give me the room I book they give me a smaller room because they end off giving my room to somebody else
Very disappointing and uncomfortable stay. Air conditioning in lobby was not working and per staff had been so for past week and would be at least a few days before might be fixed, making it too uncomfortable to even grab the subpar (compared to other Hyatt Places we have stayed at) free breakfast. Only one of two elevators worked. In front of the non working elevator there was piles of trash throughout the day. Staff, while probably nice people, were inattentive and came across as only being there for the paycheck. Room we checked into was not properly cleaned. Instead of our complimentary water waiting for us, we got a leftover half filled cup of soda. And then when a housekeeper was not paying attention and ran into me while waiting for the elevator. Th staff responded to my being very vocally upset by falsely accusing me of calling the housekeeper an offensive name - something that never happened. Have had positive experiences at other Hyatt Places, but not this one. After looking at other reviews, we aren’t the only ones with similar experiences.
My stay at Hyatt Place Park Central Dallas was extremely disappointing. The elevators were a constant issue, the lobby was too hot to comfortably use, the hallways smelled musty, the pool was dirty, and the breakfast was inedible most mornings. This was my worst Hyatt experience, and I won’t return to this property.
Location was perfect if you are a Medical City patient, however the discount they offer for the patients isn't much of a discount. It was the same price if I booked on Expedia. Also, there was only one working elevator and it was on it's last leg. Every time you went up, it would stop at each floor, the door would go to open, then shut real fast and move to the next floor. Of course we were on the top floor... Otherwise we would have just taken the stairs. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I didn't understand why they only gave 2 towels. There were 3 of us, so I had to ask for an extra towel. Just kind of inconvenient. The lobby was hot and humid like maybe the a/c wasn't working. I felt bad for the receptionist. Luckily she had a fan blasting.
From the moment we walked in, the lobby was uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working. The elevators had no A/C either, and to make matters worse, one of them was out of service, leaving only one working elevator for the entire hotel. The property was very noisy.
The next morning, we went down for breakfast, and the lobby was still hot. Unfortunately, the breakfast was just as disappointing. We arrived around 8:00 a.m., and there were only a couple of sausages and two eggs left. No one came out to restock the food, so there was essentially no breakfast available. We ended up leaving and going to IHOP instead.
This was by far the worst Hyatt I’ve ever stayed at. I would not recommend staying here.
Location
No answer when calling front desk
Location
Facilities
No a/c downstairs, roaches in rooms, no hot water in rooms upon arrival, room had spot that were bot fully painted, shower head was rusted and we were put on 3rd floor where you had to call to front desk to be let down - which is a major safety hazard and only one elevator worked
The room is very clean
This property has secured parking by having a gate around it now it is Nextdoor to the motel 6 and there’s a lot of homeless people on that property asking for money that can become annoying but none of this is fault of Hyatt people will be people umm it has the potential to be a better property if they fix the other elevator and update the rooms.
Very comfortable and clean room.
One of the elevators was not working.
Location: Not bad in terms of proximity to Dallas Love.
Atmosphere: People were kind but the atmosphere in the lobby was literally hot. The a/c was NOT working.
Rooms: There was an issue with the first room I was assigned.. the drains inside the bath tub were not draining. The second room I was given to replace my previous room, had the same problem. There was no hand soap either.
Value: Not worth over $100+. The place also had an early end (9am) for breakfast.
Cleanliness: The place appeared nice, but given the maintenance issues (the elevator was broken and the drainage issues) I do not trust that they may clean the place thoroughly asthey don’t maintain the necessary things well.
Noise level: You could hear through the walls.
Service: The phone line did not work in my first room. However, when I spoke with staff, they were friendly.
Amenities: I wasn’t able to use any in my time there.
Management never got back to me or booking.com about my stay. Never had an answer about if I’d be reimbursed for the nights I didn’t stay at the hotel.
