Convenient for the airport and has plenty of facilities, staff friendly and helpful.
In need of an update, room was a bit tired looking and needed a refresh. Breakfast was disappointing, good range of food at the buffet but cold plates and luke warm food let it down.
Outdoor space was very nice the spa jets a little weak pool and cabana areas were beautiful The smell of sandal throughout is a nice touch
Staff was a little Meh at check in
Staff was great, location was perfect for my conference.
There was a known plumbing issue; when I checked in, there was a note in the desk to let people know about a planned water shutoff the next day. When I looked at the note, the person checking me in mentioned that it wasn’t going to affect me since I was checking out the next day, before the shutoff.
At about 3am, I stayed hearing drilling and hammering sounds (very loud, but I couldn’t tell whether they were above or below me). After about 45 minutes of this, when they didn’t stop, I called the front desk. The front desk sent up a security guard, who explained that a team was working on the pipes and the sounds would continue. As it was now nearly four in the morning and I needed the be up in two hours to give a presentation at a conference, I had to ASK to be moved away from the sounds. I had to pack all my things and move to another room. Trust that I will never be staying here again.
It’s a shame; all staff I dealt with was extremely pleasant. The location is good, the food at the restaurant is good, the rooms clean and comfortable. I’ve been doing my job for twenty years and never had a more miserable trip.
This was my second and final stay at this property.
Start to finish, the entire stay was frustrating at best. I booked a king room 10 days prior to arrival. Upon check in, the front desk attendant asked if they could put me in a room with 2 beds- No thank you I booked a king. After several minutes, the attendant then advised they "found" a room and would provide access to the concierge lounge for the inconvenience. Only 1 of 3 elevators at the property was in service during the stay. As a result, it would take 10+ minutes for the elevator to arrive, if the elevator was full, guests were left to wait. I only went to the concierge lounge one time because it was a 20-30 minute round trip due to the single elevator delays. When I asked the front desk about the elevators, the front desk person told me "I don't know" .
The property is not in great shape, the wallpaper and drywall are noticeably peeling /crumbling in the hallways. The morning of check out, there was a crew in the hall (approximately 8am) stretching protective plastic over the hall carpet to begin a project. If work was schedule, why would you put people on the same floor? The parking gates to enter or exit the property do not consistently work, making it difficult to come and go from the property.
Do not rely on the shuttle service . Unless you want to wait an hour
Lobby
Sucio viejo
Free shuttle to and from airport
Room smelt damp and decor very tired. Bad sound proofing between rooms.
Parking included, friendly staff, quick service. The Breakfast was on each room so that was good. Food Vegetarian options. Nice view and it is located in a quite area.
The Hotels is really old, specially the top floors. You can see the room color coming off and can fall the color pops anytime from the roofing. The carpet on the corners was dirty and dusty. The Furniture in the rooms is very old, scratchy and not the 4 star experience you would expect. The service and staff was good but not worth the money they charge.
I I stayed at this property in Dec 2025 for business. The hotel rooms are clean, fresh, and spacious. Josh the shuttle driver was fantastic and a super fast pick up at the airport. The meeting room was great and banquets took care of our group from start to finish. Greeted upon checkin by Tito, Cynthia (sales), Kenny, and Edgar took care of our service. The desk staff is simply wonderful. Eric greeted me upon arrival and I was able to set up quickly but every agent was great. The breakfast team was lovely with Apple and Diana, they are so friendly and made sure of a perfect visit even during a busy cruise ship sold out morning. Yvonne, Allison, and Sean are such a joy at the restaurant. This is the perfect team at this location and they are the reason business and guests return every time. I am leaving out names that I encountered due to losing my list however, I will say everyone at this location makes it a point to take care of all of the guests. I know this property is under the best management team and it shows. Thanks, Victoria
We will be back in a few months.
Decent pool and hot tub; restaurant made a real effort to accommodate my preferences
I booked Club Level, they did not have the room; key cards did not work; location not very walkable as you have to navigate a lake to get to main road
I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff at the Renaissance Orlando Airport. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Yuriko who was so warm and provided the most outstanding hospitality. It is rare now to find people who truly exude caring professionalism like she does.
I was also very impressed with the executive lounge hostesses both in the evening and at breakfast. They showed so much pride in their work and really stood out as wonderful ambassadors for this property.
The property overall needs some refurbishment. The lobby and lounge are very well appointed and nice, however the hallways on the guest floors are showing lots of peeling wallpaper and the rooms feel like they need some attention. It feels like the rooms underwent refurb not too long ago but many of the fixtures still feel like the 1980s and could use updating.
Overall a very nice stay thanks to the wonderful staff here!
Breakfast ok but it could be better
The moment we walked into the lobby there was an unpleasant odor. The hallway on our floor was frigid and our room thermostat was set at 67. We turned it up to 73 and left for dinner. Upon returning, the odor was obvious, a damp and musty smell. During the night I was awakened several times by a very strong smell that I can only describe as being similar to Gain. Weird, I know, but confirmed by another guest who also said they smelled a strong fragrance. In the morning, my eyes were very red, swollen, itchy, and watery. We were going to ask to move rooms but were only there for one more night so we didn’t. The next morning my eyes were worse. The hotel lobby again had that same odor which would disappear periodically but always return. I took my shoe off and touched our floor and it was damp. I was so glad when we checked out! I overheard conversations regarding structural cracks that went beyond stucco which caused 6 windows to break and be replaced. This hotel needs MAJOR repairs.
