A wonderful stay in Cairo, and the hotel is located close to the stunning Grand Egyptian Museum.
Pros:

View of the pyramids from our balcony was a stand-out. Outdoor entertainment and eating venues were very pleasant. A high level of security was a feature and provided a strong feeling of safety.

Cons:

The rooms were looking a little old and could do with an update. The seal around a shower door had to be replaced whilst there and the drainage in a bathroom sink was poor. The pool was very nice but quite cold for May (although the kids didn't mind!).

Very affordable, convenient stay for visiting the pyramids and museum!
Pros:

Excellent location for visiting the pyramids and the grand museum.

Cons:

Entrance of hotel could be updated, it undersells the rest of the hotel.

Pros:

Cons:

Stunning View of the Grand Egyptian Museum and Outstanding Hospitality
Pros:

The stay was highly comfortable and exceptionally clean. The reception team and the entire staff were very friendly and welcoming. The ultimate highlight was the magnificent, direct view of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) from my room.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was perfect

Dreadful, save your money and go elsewhere
Pros:

Room size, closeness to pyramids, pool is quite large (though unclean. Otherwise not really a huge amount to like about this place, absolutely dreadful.

Cons:

I had a dreadful stay at this hotel and it was a bad first impression of Egypt in general (fortunately the rest of Egypt was glorious).
I arrived very late and went to check in. Check in all seemed fine but then a porter tried to grab my bag. I suggested I was happy to take it and the porter muttered something and scowled. I grabbed the keys, headed towards the lift and thought I was on my way. My room was not in the main hotel building (though I wasn’t told) so after walking around a little bit, I went back down to reception. The night receptionist then said with a massive smile laughing “what happened?!”. I said, my room isnt up there and asked to be told where it was. The porter just said, go out that door and left. The hotel is sprawling and my room was right at the back of the property, I would never have found it without assistance from one of the pool attendants, who was very kind and took me to my room and was tipped well as a result. It was a bad start.
I slept very poorly that evening and so I got up later than I had intended but I was awoken by a loud banging on my porch by a cleaner. Whatever, irritating but not that unusual.
I went to the pool and after a few hours came back for a nap (I believe with do not disturb turned on). The cleaners then banged on my door whilst I was napping to introduce themselves to me (i.e. to get a tip).
The exact same thing happened to my friend who joined me later on.
Food was extremely bad. A large minority of the staff had a bad attitude. The rooms are poorly designed with respect to the air conditioning. The air conditioning is weak so you need it on full blast, it also only cools for 15 minutes, then stops cooling (despite not being at the set temperature). It blasts directly onto the bed so you cycle between getting too hot and being too cold. I barely slept as a result. I stayed here for 3 nights and that was 3 too many.

Hotel qui mérite ses étoiles
Pros:

La proximité des Pyramides est un plus.
La qualité de services rendus.
Le petit déjeuner hors catégorie ! 😋

Steigenberger Pyramids, a great choice for Cairo
Pros:

Perfect location, for visiting the Pyramids and the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum, but also for Saqqara and Dahshur. Lovely pool and poolside bar areas, to relax after a busy morning or day sightseeing. Attentive and friendly staff, and Guest Relations (Caroline) couldn't be more willing and helpful.

Cons:

No problem with the fact that bar & restaurant bills can't be 'signed' to a guest's room, but the card payment terminals were often unable to process transactions at the poolside bar.
