Convenient
I loved the location.
I wished it had a pool and a restaurant.
The items offered for breakfast were prepared well.
There was a $30.00 parking charge per day for those who have vehicles.
Poor service, no parking , Late checking in waiting for rooms and didn't have the right rooms
Martha and Saul were very pleasant staff members. They asked if we needed anything and were attentive. They also had a hospitable and positive attitude. Martha was extremely helpful in answering general Chicago questions.
You must ensure request your room is cleaned on daily basis if not it's every other day.
MANAGER ON DUTY WAS HORRIBLE!!
Customer service
The reception was excellent.
I liked everything.
I loved the room, the carpets all over were fresh not old and moldy smelling, service was very accommodating, food has a larger variety than most places! Thanks for that. Saved me traveling during a business event! Rooms clean, bigger size than usually and updated! I would of loved to stay longer but I had to get back to run the business. Next time this will be the place I'll stay! Kudos!
Weather! Is there during that horrible weather(possible tornado)
As a loyal Hilton Gold member who has been faithful to this brand for years, I am absolutely appalled by the traumatic and abusive treatment I received at the Hampton Inn Chicago-Midway Airport. I arrived at the hotel at 9:30 PM with a prebooked, paid-in-full receipt from AAA in my hand. Unbeknownst to me, AAA had failed to transfer the payment to the hotel on time. Instead of handling this booking discrepancy professionally, the hotel cancelled my reservation without any notice, leaving me stranded at night with no other rooms available. When I tried to resolve the issue, the manager, Patty Glomb, proceeded to yell and verbally abuse me. I was left terrified, traumatized, and worried that I had nowhere to go. While they eventually provided a room and charged me (more than my original booking price), the manager's aggressive, and completely unprofessional behavior was entirely unprovoked. When I escalated this severe misconduct to Hilton Corporate, Corporate completely deflected accountability. For this deeply traumatic experience where a loyal guest was yelled at by management, Hilton Corporate only offered a measly 20,000 points—not even enough to cover a single night's stay. Let this be a warning to all travelers: Hilton's response suggests they do not value long-term loyalty in the way one would expect, and the lack of accountability regarding management's behavior is deeply concerning. Professionalism and safety should be the priority in the hospitality industry.
Booked hotel after missing connection. The lone person at the counter was a young man working a 16 hour shift by himself. Despite a lobby full of angry/frustrated people, he kept calm and upbeat to get people accommodated. Young but someone with a future in hospitality. Unfortunately I can't recall his name - but he was working the front desk by himself evening of July 4 and was still there when I checked out early July 5.
Nothing
Everything was horrible. They moved us to a different room and it was just infested with ants and roaches. Will not be staying there again.
