We would definitely recommend The Urbanite.
Pros:

We had stayed at the Urbanite hotel 2 years previously and as we had enjoyed it so much the first time round we had decided to book it again and we weren't disappointed. Our room was more like an apartment than a hotel room and was very spacious, quiet and clean. The breakfast was very good, there was a lot of choice and we really enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and for much of the time had it to ourselves. The receptionist staff were kind courteous and were also friendly and informative and a special mention must be made of Deth and Kham who went out of their way to be of assistance.

Pros:

One of the cleanest rooms I have had in Asia, and there was a new washing machine in the bathroom which was a fantastic bonus! Breakfast was one of the best too. The staff don't speak a lot of English but we muddled through. It's around a 25 minute walk to the centre.

Cons:

The pool was dirty, looked green, with only 3 sunbeds that looked really dirty.

Nice big apartment. Gym is decent. Breakfast is ok. Staff are friendly if maybe a little shy.

Cons:

Location wasn't ideal for casual tourist maybe better for longer term rentals. Its the NGO/government district so maybe not the best for restaurants/cafes but safe and pleasant enough.

Pool was next to the car park.

Excellent stay at Urbanite Hotel
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Urbanite Hotel in Vientiane. The hotel is clean, modern, and very comfortable, with well-maintained rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. The location is convenient—close to restaurants, cafés, and key attractions—making it easy to explore the city.

What truly made the stay exceptional was the service, especially from Deth at the reception. Deth was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. From check-in to providing local tips and assistance, Deth went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and pleasant. His warm attitude and genuine hospitality really stood out and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Overall, Urbanite Hotel offers great value, excellent service, and a comfortable place to stay in Vientiane. Highly recommended, and special thanks again to Deth for the outstanding hospitality!
