Great for our short stay!
The place is peaceful and perfect. Our room was spotless with comfy bedding and a nice bathroom. The owner and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect spot for a quiet getaway.

Located close to the Victoria Golf course, it's an ideal place to stay if playing golf. The rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally clean. The white linen and towels are very good quality and super clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Hot water, air-conditioning, water pressure, shower, all excellent.
No restaurant at the venue. But staff very kindly provided breakfast and a night meal when requested.

We booked only an hour before we arrived but the room was ready and the staff greeted us with umbrellas in the rain to help carry our baggage in. We did experience a brief power outage from the storm (it affected everyone in town) but they offered us candles and lights. Very comfortable room and spotless!
Comfortable room, spacious European standard bathroom, great bed and pillows, super clean, freshly laundered sheets, nice thick big-sized towels. Big safe in the room, electric kettle for hot tea or coffee, cups & saucers, enough space to unpack your bags. A/C, fan, balcony with a view on the gardens. Comfortable chairs and a table. Enough sockets near the bed.
Big property, located about 3 kilometers from the town and the beautiful Victoria golf course and restaurant, with hiking opportunities nearby.
Management and owner are fantastic, always ready to help. They took us to town in their tuk tuk or to the neighborhood restaurant. There is a Sri Lankan restaurant around 1.5 kilometers from the hotel, but it's pretty basic. The best spot for a good meal is at the golf course restaurant that offers great views and walks down to the lake. It's open to everyone. The town offers local fares, nothing fancy.
A proper closet instead of the rack and hangers would be great. A safe could be set inside the closet and the mirror on the door. The WiFi should be upgraded; the connection is on and off.

It is located in a steep hill. Parking would be tricky but enjoyable.
